I have 2 kids with a bar girl. I never agreed to a monogamous relationship with her and she knows I butterfly, always have always will. she is not happy about it but has said as long as I am home before 4am she will tolerate it. this is fine as I prefer the afternoon bars anyway. screwing around on thai girls behind their backs is normally not a good idea, thai girls are crazy jealous. while they will not want to give up a good sponsor they will put you through hell if they catch you out.
in this case I think you are being tested. thai girls sometime say you can sleep around but they are testing you to see what you will do. even if they have several 'boyfriends' they will try to keep you monogamous.

lots of good advice already. I owned a guesthouse in pattaya. I actually bought the building, this is the only way to make a guesthouse work. even then there are problems with ownership of the building as it must be in a thai company name. it is impossible to rent a guesthouse and pay all the expenses including a work permit. I was able to make a little bit of money but owning the guesthouse was more hassle than it was worth. ended up selling the building and loosing quite a bit of money. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING THIS.

I was working on koh samui and 9 years ago i got a chance to work in pattaya. I did not want to come here but I have been here 9 years and don't want to leave. want to take my kids back to school but I am delaying it. pattay is a fantastic place, actually jomtien is the best, I don't really go into pattaya any more. whats to like? there is not much I don't like.

giving a western guy a job in my business, he had a fight with another employee and called immigration down to my club. all up it cost 75k in fines and bribes. second biggest mistake was buying property in Thailand. better to rent.

i have a triton almost 2 years old. excellent pickup. no problems although the aircon compressor did squeal to start with but that was just fixed with 30 000km service. I bought it from the na jomtien mitsu dealer. I tried to buy one off the dealership on the north end of pattaya but the took my deposit then could not get me the correct model or colour. I spend weeks trying to get my deposit but every time they just promised to get me the car. gave up in the end, almost 20k out of pocket. if anyone is reading this put a minimum deposit down when ordering a car.
by the way I got my 2 door 4 seater jacked (up think it is called the triton plus extra cab) for 600K this is excellent value, far better than other brands I looked at.
You never got your deposit back? I put 10,000 baht down on a pickup from the Mitsu dealer on Sukhumvit, same side and not far from the BKK/Pattaya hospital. Same problem, couldn't get my colour, but they eventually refunded into my bank account. Ended up getting the colour I wanted (Titanium Grey) from Rayong.
put a 14000thb deposit down at the north pattaya dealership, then they kept phoning me to say they could not get the pickup I wanted, everytime I went there they said they were going to get the one I wanted. I went to the one on the south side of pattayaand they had the exact pickup I wanted. the north dealership also had the bluebook from my old pick up and I had to bribe them 5000thb to get it back. I tried and tried to get the deposit but gave up in the end. I did not know what else to do. total 19000thb lost, 2 years later I am still angry about it. love my current pickup though which I thought was a bargin.

I think you gave up too easily. They can't refuse to refund your deposit if they can't get the vehicle you want. I must admit, I had to chase them a bit, it took 6 weeks before I got my money, but there was no way I was going to write off 10,000 baht. I would have been making phone calls to Mitsus head office if they hadn't come to the party.
well I have to admit to some stupidity on my part. finally they said they would put the deposit back into my account and asked for my paperwork back. I gave it to them, and of course the money never arrived into my account and now I have no proof. I used to buy new cars in Australia and I was just used to dealing with honest people. I ended up just writing it off. I will only deal with the mitsu dealership on the south side of town. I am tempted to put a topic up warning people not to put big deposits down on cars, especialy at the mitsu dealership on the north side of town.

business closing down almost daily. for rent/sale signs everywhere. 9 years and I have never seen pattaya like this. only select tourist attractions mobbed with bus loads of tourists (I am guessing they are Chinese) and this may not even last much longer.

probably better than being called kwai, that's what we are in this country and that's the way I like it. I pay my girl a set salary and she raises my 2 kids. I never would have found such a devoted mother in the western world.

.the real issue is the child porn on his computer. the people mentioned in this story were consenting, if true it is more a case of theft as he did not pay for their services.the boys were not upset about having sex with a 64 yo Brit, but went to the police when they weren't paid for the service... TiT after all..

Do Thai women allow their men to sleep around?

it really works that way? from what I have heard the man normally gets everything and the girl gives the kids to her parents while she goes of to find a foreign man to support her.
