Got it sorted on the 29th ok. Should really be a system where they send you an email to say you can pick it up.

When you enter Thailand they dont staple the card to your passport. It is dead easy for it to fall out of the passport, especially when you have been waiting a long time, and are a bit stressed out.Just staple the bloody things in then no problem.

Rather harsh about the Amari hotel. Found it fine when i stayed there, and about 2,400 baht a reasonable price.Look at reviews on Trip advisor, Booking.com etc. and they are all pretty favourable.

Thanks for the replies.Am only going to Bangkok for the holiday from Nakhon Phanom.If they haven,t done it by the 29th, can always do a return day trip on the plane on the 4th,  as pointed out, the 5th is a holiday.

Applied yesterday at immigration on the 18th  October for a one year marriage extension.I was given a date to return on 5th December.Expected the consderation period to be about 30 days with a return date about 18th November.

Rather foolishly didnt check the return date, and have a holiday booked from November 30th to December 7th.

Dont wish to overstay so if i show up on November 29th and the extension has not yet been approved would they be likley to extend the return date?

Have always wondered how it is, that everyone here gets taught English, for a number of years, but hardly any adults round here can speak any.

Why do people see it as a vote between May or Corbyn?. Much prefer to vote on whether the MP representing my constituency is doing a good job for the area. Too many decent people get voted out because people just vote on this issue.

Am staying in Bangkok first week in July, and am interested in a day trip to the River Kwai bridge, museum, cemetry etc. Seems to be alot of companies doing this.

Basically dont want to go in a minivan, but an air conditioned coach.

I have a Samsung tab A (2016) tablet. I only use mobile data and not wifi.It does not have an hdmi outlet. I have a 50 inch modern tv ( not Samsung).

Is there any way i can watch videos etc from the tablet on the tv?

Am on a marriage extension in Thailand until november 2017, and going to the UK for 3 weeks in April. I have got a reentry permit from Immigration . Question is what is the procedure at the immigration section at the airport departing and arriving back, as opposed to that of being a normal tourist. Many thanks.

I went to my local immigration office to get a checklist before i got my last extension based on marriage.The 400,000 baht was typed on the list as 2 months required, but that had been changed to 3 months with a pen.

We went to the Trendy Building and the translation company on the ground floor told us for a visitor visa the marriage certificate and housebook did not need translating to English.Anyway got the visa OK.

I need to renew my marriage extension shortly. If I get a 30 day consideration period on say 15th November, then go out of Thailand returning on 28th of November would that be OK?.Many thanks for any replies.
