  1. In the modern world there is a cure for losing face,
  2. "Cambodian, Burmese and Karen ethnic origin". So Karens are so widespread that now they're their own ethnicity?
  3. Do you mean singling people out by their ethnicity and nothing else and blocking their entry? Fortunately Thailand is generally and officially averse to such bigotry and prejudice. Most "undesirables" can be prosecuted since they eventually get caught, as in this case. Better to let a few lawbreakers in for the sake of preserving the vast majority of innocent people's rights. This is the fundamental principle of law and democracy, yes, even in your country. So, to paraphrase, Thailand will never learn ethnic hate and bigotry, and thank god for that.
  4. Agreed. Simple. But the question still exists for motorbike taxi passengers.
  5. He should have been brought to a hospital. That's what they do in the US.
  6. I have sued Booking Holdings, the parent company, at least a half dozen times, with one pending as we speak. Fortunate for me they are in the same state as my US address. I sued them for a Priceline (their subsidiary) over an airline refund, and they had to pay me $1,000.00 to settle. Look for any office they may have in your country and you may be able to do the same. I don't take any sh߆ from any of these people.
  7. That's funny, I make one of those once a day. I take milk of magnesia for it.
  8. Coupe? Yes, we need more than one coupe, one after another off the assembly line, give everyone a Coupe DeVille Cadillac, then we'll all be happy.
  9. Israeli ex military again, behaving badly and arrogantly, real tough guys assaulting locals who were doing no harm. Deport the m - f's, blacklist Israel - they do no good for Thailand
  10. Keep in mind that those who got the shots but now choose not to are exposing the rest of us to increased risk because of their recklessness. Each person who gets infected becomes a factory to create new strains , to which we all are vulnerable, necessitating new versions of the vaccine, which they will again refuse. If people did the right thing there would be less of these new outbreaks. Fortunately, this problem seems limited to ignorant westerners rather than Thai people, who fortunately have enough of a sense of duty and cooperation to make up for those relatively few pigheaded individuals. You certainly have the right to choose to die and how, but you do not have the moral right to endanger others. Of course, having said that, nobody who is refusing the vaccine actually cares about the consequences to others, and so - duh.
  11. Each has the right to decide for themself. In your case I don't think it's so much a vaccine boost issue but how to boost your reasoning skills. And by the way you describe it I have doubts about what you claim happened and why. What do I mean by reasoning skills? "My heart rate increased as well causing me to now become a risk for heart attack albeit a minor one." That is nonsense. An increased heart rate is a natural occurrence and has nothing whatsoever to do with the risk of heart attack. It can happen for a variety of harmless reasons, such as anxiety over vaccines (ironically). You're not a doctor and I'm sure no doctor told you that. You're drawing a lot of conclusions based on your misunderstanding of physiology and misinterpretation of the facts. I GUARANTEE there is no corroboration to your claim about respiratory problems "consistent with others". You're free to have your opinions, but don't lie and embellish. Your comment is nonsense and of no value to anyone outside of your own imagination.
  12. I think we will have to leave this one to Darwin. Either you're born with a functioning brain of average intelligence or you will be the ones culled from the herd. No one cares what I do but me, and that is to choose to not invite a premature demise if i can help it. What anyone else thinks or does is up to them. Like I said, let Darwin work his magic.
  13. How do you know he has a credit card, phone, or even a bank account? How do you know the wife didn't keep the aforementioned or drain his account before kicking him out? Common sense suggests that if he had them he would have used them. Duh. Instructions: Make sure you have your facts straight before making judgmental comments.
  14. It's not the same literal reverse thrust as in a jet engine's thrust reversers, the thrust itself of the turboprop isn't reversed, only the prop pitch.

  17. Sounds like someone who may be missing four out of their five senses. Not much point in even being in thailand if you can't see what's right in front of you
  18. Already done 100 times. Next there will be someone trying to have sex with it.
  19. I'm speaking as someone who admittedly has never been to the UK, and am not thoroughly familiar with life there. However, this has worked in the US: someone should organize pickets, protests, press coverage, and anything you can do to shame your prime minister and parliament not acting on this. I feel terribly bad for all of you guys, the financial stress robs you of your enjoyment of this otherwise wonderful place.
  20. My favorite dramatic embellishments from the story: Slick, bold, unfolded, faced-off, keen, pinpointed, notch-in-their-belts, quietly-whisked (egg whites?), cuffed, swift
  21. Are you serious? What do you expect that to do? Perhaps you'd like to educate yourself whether you're joking or just stυpid. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leishmaniasis
