The item is still showing as available for sale on the website. I just added it to my cart with no indication that it may not be available for immediate shipping.
Well if they 'sell' more of those products only to keep the funds on their bank for some weeks they might have found a new businessmodel! Amazing Thailand!

Yep, heard that was pretty good.
Well i don't eat there and can't even read any banner on the restaurants/foodtrucks there. No idea what food they're selling but it looks fun there, just very simple restaurants built from seacontainers with roofterraces and so...it's fun...it's something like kao san road but more asian style and cheaper and no dreadlocked beggars from W-Europe. There are no westerners at all..

Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel, the PM has invited Trump to Bangkok so soon we will see some prime real estate with a big i mean very big in fact i mean a very huge very big Trump tower, but, at what cost China will not be amused for sure which means tourist numbers will go down again.
I hope it rains hard when Trump arrives so the electricity will fall out as usual and he'll drive through a dark city.

Take the purple line to Central Rattanatibet and next to it is a huge market in the weekend. They have 100 thai restaurants there now and loads of streetfood and so much more.....every night in the weekend.

I don't need no overpriced mangosteens...and i sure won't go to Thong Lor..
The episode from thailand is about the scamming gem vendors of BKK, the reporter offers himself to get scammed and will then go back to the shop and tell them he s scammed...all filmed with hidden camera's... great tv.

I've bought thai grown figs several times but they were far from nice....nothing at all compared to a fresh fig in Greece.
So do you guys grow nice ones?

The red stuff is made from eggshells and stinks enormous..it's a fertilizer according to the thai.

I think the 20 K fine will be for any Farangs they catch feeding the Pigeons,
the Thai,s, they will confiscate the loot and a 500 THB fine,
regards worgeordie
A Russian lady who was feeding bread to fish out of a tourboat in Phuket got fined 100.000 baht.

Good that they got her on film.
But this makes me think, can i also film thai criminals and put them on the web? It's so easy to film the scammers on the street.

well there are plenty more markets in town. Explore!
Hence my nickname, i know almost ANY fruitmarket in BKK. Not at phra kanong though. The or-tor-kor has mangosteens all year around though, also durian.
There's a rumour that the Indonesian pointy mangosteens are bigger, better and more healthy...i tried those as well but to me they taste and look exactly the same, the indo ones are pointy though, the thai ones are round.
There are many many more mangosteen varieties though, the thai should grow them as well. I'm sure the chinese would love to buy the other varieties as well.

Really? Come on down with me to the Phra Khanong Market and check out the fatties there. So you must be mistaken, or going to the wrong market.
The only big mangosteens i know of are sold at the or-tor-kor market where they always like to cheat me.
For the rest i only see small ones on the markets and you have to be early because the locals are selecting the best ones.

The americans also love durian...
And the Germans go crazy for durian..

Not strange at all... 3 people sharing one normal salary !
Yes but those 3 all need to use the roads to get to work, need a place to live, to do shopping and so on....that's why BKK is overly crowded.

Not only me but a couple of friends would really like to know how the figure are decided.
What factors are used to determine a tourist arrival.
Total count of non Thai passports going through airports and border posts?
Total number of hotel registrations of non Thai passports or just all passports.?
Total of passports in airports plus total of hotel registrations?
If they just counted the foreign online simcards in Thailand they would get a pretty good count of foreigners me thinks.

Recent years i only see tiny mangosteens on the thai markets. The big ones already went overseas.

Even with VAT refund and extra 5% it would be more expensive than in EU/AU/US
and with no warranty
Sure! Everything in Central is about double or triple the price of the EU webshops.....

Tourists already can get a tax refund...also they can get additional discount of 5% in Central if they get a free expat card.
But who wants to stand in a long queue at Swampy and after that in another long line at the immigration??
In Tokyo the tourists get the refund before they pay, that's how it should work...it's just paperwork so don't annoy customers with it.

And another 3/4 billion Baht for military Navy. Is that spend really needed? Every step the gov't makes includes more more more for the military. How about a little more for health care or genuinely helping the poor.
If that military budget is spent in the usa than they do it to keep the trade balanced and to avoid getting taxed like china.

Last place I visited was in Kanchanaburi. I gave a very truthful and critical report on the place on the Agoda website, listing both the good and bad points. The bad way outnumbered the good I have to say. The people who made previous reports must've been weary of being sued because they were all positive, which is why I chose to stay there. I ended up leaving a day early it was so bad. I think it's only fair to the people who follow you to be truthful in your reports.
Let me guess...the noise of the partyrafts drove you crazy??
We also will never go back to kanchanaburi...better pay more and fly to another country.
