What! That's my sister! What are you doing here sis? I think I only have a few weeks left of the restraining order as well, so I will come around soon.

By the way I liked the Indian stuff at the night bazaar, I didn't try the vegetarian burger but it looked nice. Nothing to complain about the prices as well.
I suspect that Thierry might open up a business in another spot in the future where authoritarian hassle will be less.

You can't be serious luv, are you living in Thailand? Bringing out one farang owned bar amongst all the others that are run by Thais and saying that it's irresponsible to let the customers drive back home. That just sounds like a grudge to me. And among all the other bars in that area of the night bazaar a few years back, why is it only this guy you don't like.
-
Unlucky, I just recently had a few friends here that are going back to "du gamla du fria" in a week. But, I guess you have checked http://www.thailandpost.com/search_ems_en.asp as well for prices?

They probably will, when something like this starts more is bound to happen.

Yes, this regards the 30 day visa exemption. Which is not the same as Visa on arrival. If you have a proper tourist Visa etc, things seems to be the same. Extending your tourist visa for one month would be the same. And going across the border to trigger the second part of your tourist visa would be the same. After that, 15 days.

Mario, this short one talks somewhat of it but I am unfamiliar with the first clause of the 608/2549.

If you read the attached PDF-file it would have to have been a clairvoyant police general since it was ordered the 25th of November.
-
I don't see the effect of anything if you still have the same tourist visa rules. Would people rather go across the border twice a month instead of going to get a new visa in a neighbour country every 3-6 months?

Hello there!
You gentle people wouldn't know if there is a chiropractor or the likes around in Chiang Rai somewhere?
I have a friend visiting and it unluckily enough his wife started out on the day second day with a lower back pain. She knows what it is and usually visits a chiropractor for it.
I will give the hospitals a call today I think but maybe there is a place hiding somewhere else.
Thank you very much.

Yes. I might be time to dig out the old Olympus superzoomer for the upcoming Saturday.
I was only mistaken that it was on Friday konjianghai because the thread says Friday walking street.
-
When did it start? I drove through around five or so, nothing there.
-
That's just because we don't have your adress!
-
Not at all directed towards you klikster. It is more or less ironic, the same as all other posts I post. The "every farang wants his spot" thing triggered it. It was well to the spot.

In that case open up your own website and start posting the truth. The colonial times are over! There are other forums about northern Thailand than just this one.

Yes, wilder by the day. Also, I am amazed that you have accumulated more than 4000 posts in 1,5 years.

No real need to pity anyone since a 5-year-old kid could figure out that another guesthouse, hotel or inn would be an incredibly bad idea.
A star rating is usually just a guideline for what kind of quality you can expect but it really isn't that accurate.

No, they just have a sign saying that as a joke.
I went there two days ago and just wanted to write a few lines about it.

And there is also a saying: More is less.
So begone demons!
Anyhow, I was wondering if it would be allowed to have a nickname referring to Christ or Allah on Thaivisa?

I have had some people stay there and the rooms are very ok for the price. Nice bathroom, not so much decorations on the walls in the room but in the modern style modesty it was enough.
The swimming pool is nice with a small one for children. The breakfast is ok, a bit sloppy western/thai style but hey, why complain? The staff is friendly and the hotel garden is nice. When they stayed there it was a very good buy but I don't know how their prices are at the moment.
I would recommend and already have to another friend coming here next month with wife and two kids.

I know a good eye doctor.

You mean you could do that and then print it out and bind it fora fragment of it´s orignal price? I would strongly suggest that you do NOT!

Aahhh.... the intrigue lives on. Yes, personally I miss all the dirt worms and hill tribe combinations that were going on. Must take someone a little broad minded to get the drift.

Dammmmmn! And I thought it was the first guy in! I have to recalculate my weight according to speed when it comes to impact.
Changes To The 30 Day Visa Exemption Rule And The Effect On Chiang Rai

Yes, I read about that. There are millions of Chinese trying to break down a wall they built in order to prevent them from entering Chiang Khong. French wine and Turkish delight. 81 geese and a phonebook. The snakes and the rats. Ah, the river of Mekohong, the best hong there is.
