You pay a dime to get on, depending on how far you traveled, would need to pay a nickel to get off. The joke was, " if you don't have a nickel, you can never get off". There is another thread covering this issue. The problem is K- Bank is going to a different verification system called 3D Secure, which requires an OTP sent to your phone. Same thing happened to me at Home Pro, Tesco and Villa. Following is a snippet I received from Villa customer service. **************************************** Dear valued customer. We've found your payment was rejected unable to authenticate card holder 3D-Secure is not enrolled. Have you received an OTP (One time password to payment) from your issuing card while you tried to make payment? Due to this merchant can accept only the payment with OTP verified, If you haven't received an OTP, you cannot make payment by this card. Please try another card that can receive an OTP. Natnicha Regards, 2C2P Customer Support Team TH: 02 026 3000 ******************************************* It looks like the main problem is that 3D secure is unable to SMS a foreign number. I don't know if they'll be able to find a work around for this

For USA foods I give a thumbs up to Villa. From Ruffles potato chips, Lipton onion soup mix, Vlasic pickles, Skippy peanut butter etc. A decent deli, frozen food section, small hardware section (don't know about a meat thermometer).

I would print out both PCR Test and Thai Pass QR code. They will accept both on the phone but you have to handover your phone while they scan the QR codes. Another thing. They want to see your boarding pass too (just the one you arrived in Thailand on). They will also scan the bar code of it. You can use the boarding pass in your phone if you have it but again, you need to hand over your phone. I just handed over the two printouts and paper boarding pass, they did thier scans and I was good to go.

I've wondered about amending the bookings but isn't the QR code only for the date and flight of arrival that you entered into TP and got approved for? Does anyone know for sure?

I booked mine through Agoda. Put in "Thailand Quarantine Hotel" or similar in the search box.

I just entered 30, TP took it. If I do get in, I plan to extend for another 30.

What I'm wondering is, what if you get your QR code to late? If you had to cancel the flight you reserved? Can you still use the code, and book another flight and ASQ hotel?

If this eventually work, does anyone know if we will need to upload any documents? If so, which ones?

So far I haven't heard of anyone dying from Covid that has received the Sinovac. So the vaccine is actually doing what it's supposed to do; if you come down with Covid, your body will have the antibodies to fight the infection and keep you from dying from it. Just my take on it.
