Just an observation and indeed very strange, TIT.
Whereas the eServices Immigration App (90 Day Online Reporting) updates an Android phone on a regular basis abroad, I do not understand why developers put a so-called geoblocking on the Section38 App. Does not make sense to me really!

I just learned in a newsletter from Swiss Embassy in Bangkok that very likely this September new visa changes will be announced respectively become effective and all embassies are going to be informed accordingly. What’s up I ask myself?

I am not sure if the OP can register himself from outside Thailand for the Section38 app.
I'm still in Europe and registered from Europe via this link a few weeks ago
https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/
and received user name and password within some 10 days (not from CW!!)
I also was not able to install the Section38 App Android App from Google Play and came across this link
https://apkpure.com/section38/th.go.immigration.section38/download?from=developer
downloaded the App, put it into the Root of my device and installed it (my Android device still works
perfectly and so does the Section 38 App).
A few days ago you may have seen this message, but nobody answered because of my typo error.
Yes there is no Section39 App, it should have read Section38 App and here again my questions:

tm30 Notification of Residence via Section39 App
Questions :
1) Is it each time mandatory to fill in every single field (except Check-out Date) or just the ones that changed since last notification ?
2) Is it necessary each time to submit a Frontpage Photo/MRZ scan and also submit the passport number again if one is registered with those ?
3) Regarding type of visa does NON (A …… 1 ……) cover the one year marriage extension ?
Thanks for your input.unquote

Try this

which I was not able to download respectively install probably due to my being out of Thailand.

@chessman & ubonjoe
As follow up to message #133 system works even for an application with an upcountry immi belonging to Division 4.
Just received user and password, changed password immediately. System content looks fine to me and I will use it once I return from Europe.
P.S. Apologies ubonjoe, I can distinguish between tm30 and tm 47 Reporting, but did overlook the thread title.

In the User Manual v.4 downloadable from https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/#,
btw a reasonable guidance to register, it not only mentions IE but also Chrome and I confirm that it works like a charm with the latest Chrome editon on Windows 10 Vers. 1903.

Has anybody bothered about this app yet? Does this mobile App for 90 days notifications downloadable from Play Store work?
App got issued on 21.05.2019 only and 500 downloads so far. I installed it, did the registration but could not
get any further respectively receive any of my data.

Renewed my licence the day after coronation and it was a mess, so better do it mid-week but not on a the day after a weekend or holiday. You are advised to go early in the morning as you will not escape the video thing.
Bring along originals and copies (one set per licence that you want to extend) of
Passport (front page, visa or extension and stamp to stay)
Yellow Tabien Ban or Embassy Letter (confirming your address)
Old Driving Licence(s)
Cost B 505 (Car), respectively B 255 (Motocy)
There is not medical certificate necessary if you extend from an expired 5-year licence.
If you are smart have your GF or wife call your Land Office to confirm what is really needed.
And being clever, go one day after your birthday and you will get a 6 years validity of your new licences.
As a side note have your tickets (speeding or whatever) payed before you apply as they put each licence into a reader to check if that is the case.

@OP
Don’t ask me why they (Swiss Embassy) need those references as you can notice from attached Affidavit.
In my case I just informed two Swiss buddies, one at the time living and working in Switzerland, the other one living as a pensioner in Thailand about my marriage and they were never contacted nor did they have to provide signed (certified) copies of their ID’s.
Contrary it seems that Belgium wants signed copies of your references.

No more guesswork. On 4th March I applied for my first spouse extension and was told to come back on May 2. By the way just too much hassle such as paperwork and 3 guaranteeing poeple. As of yesterday my local immi says that Divison 4 has not yet approved. On May 7 I am off to Europe and back by early November again.
My goal is and has always been to leave with a long term visa or extension ever since I am in Thailand. For a Retirement Extension it is too late as my embassy income letter would not arrive in time now. This is the reason why I am looking for a new Multiple Non-O-Visa and Savannakhet has always worked nicely for me.
-
I fully understand what you both are saying, the big but is however that I have to be in Thailand to activate all this.
Since Savannakhet is my best bet for my intention, would they cancel the visa if ever? Alternatively and in the worst case
I could be leaving Savannakhet and entering Thailand empty-handed visa exempt, but with enough cash and a booked flight to Europe.
-
Could not find a solid answer.
Question, is it possible to override an existing Multiple Non-O-Visa still valid for 4 months by a new Multiple Non-O-Visa or
may e.g. Savannakhet for whatever reason object?
-
Could somebody answer this post please?
Thank you.

Friend of mine is back in Europe at the moment. He asked what he has to do when he comes back in July.
He usually reports back at his immi up north with a tm 30 form as soon as he arrives at the place where he lives. His passport carries the tm30 slip. This time on his return he will directly head on to a rented appartment in the South and stay there for 1 month before returning to his home base. He is not sure what to do now in terms of tm30.
a) Make sure that apartment owner in the South does report him to owner's immi?
b) Report to his local immi where he usually lives once he returns to his home base later on or
c) Report nowhere at all?

Just a heads-up. Make sure the log book in the car for cars with red number plates you mostly get from Thai rental companies does have empty (unfilled) pages. All your journeys have to be kept in a log book. Should you run into police check-ups with a logbook not matching your trip will cause trouble and cost money guaranteed.
Btw Rentalcars.com is a good provider too in Thailand

Q 1: Friend of mine is also up for his 2nd yearly renewal based on marriage and wants to know, if his wife has to be present again for the process.
Q 2: Apart from the usual paperwork what is no longer needed after his initial extension if nothing did change? I can only think of the map and new pictures or anything else?
-
Did today my first extension by reason of marriage at a Divison 4 immigration outlet following my second 90-day stay within a Multiple Non-O-Visa.
They stamped me a consideration date May 2, 2019 and told my wife (an officer by the way) that they need 3 witnesses at the time they do that home interview in about 2-3 weeks.
I thought consideration period would be 30 days and 2 witnesses requested. How come?
There is no problem regarding witnesses, but is there a possibility to shorten that consideration period for travel planned outside the country?
-
When you order COD there is no problem, because it is Lazada who has to run after your money. Ordered over the years from China and local, even declined twice a delivery at my doorstep and it was accepted.

Thai Consulate in Savannakhet, Laos
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
No, it is not required in Savannakhet!
Anyway people should better stick to requirements of the corresponding embassy, consulate or immigration and not overdue what is in fact necessary.
