Online TM30 entry error
WhatsNext replied to WhatsNext's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes to my big surprise about 90% of the people i know in Thailand also make a physical trip to immigration for the 90 days, online takes about 3 minutes to do. Anyway let's hope for the appearance of the TM30 expert that we will surely have here somewhere on the forum ???? By the way : i did get one step further, when i switched the automatic translation off from google chrome , now it says "saving" and after that i get a new error : "An error occurred". As an ex programmer myself i'd love to fire the guy that made this mess. -

No idea about how to change what's already there. This is my first time trying..... I hope someone knows. Maybe it is just a hickup in the system and everything will be ok on tuesday as the government opens. -
Online TM30 entry error
WhatsNext replied to WhatsNext's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes i used the online questionnaire as well, all it does is fill out the same fields as the spreadsheet does. Left the checkout blank and still nothing. Just to be clear : i do have full access to the system with a usernumber and password that i got after uploading everything from the house. -
I am trying to do the TM30 online, i have a username and password and trying to make the spreadsheet for entry of a TM30. Downloaded the spreadsheet from the thai site and my input is as follows : (see picture) When i try to save it i always get the same error "something wrong in line 1 , correct data". I don't know what to fill in "check out date" but tried a few different things to see if that would help. So i am stuck, anyone here that does the TM30 online and knows what to do ? I would be eternally grateful.

I tried just about everything filling in the TM30 online, read the user manual, tried adding manually, via a spreadsheet, clicked all the boxes and still always get the following error : WIthout any explanation as to what is wrong If anyone knows how to fill it in correctly , thanks a lot ???? And ill open a tm30 topic as well

COVID: Will European tourists return to Southeast Asia?
WhatsNext replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's simple : Go back to normal and everything will go back to normal. There is no longer an emergency, there are no corpses in the street, the daily deaths from c19 approach the daily deaths on the roads in Thailand again. Don't forget that the daily c19 deaths include the flu deaths as for some weird reason (hint hint) we don't get that anymore. Only a few will come with the COE, test, vaccines, 21 kilo paperwork, insurance and o yeah, curfew, no alcohol and no entertainment.- 118 replies

Interesting, it's actually the other way round. You don't vaccinate during a pandemic, you will cause mutations. Plus check out the UK with 40.000+ DAILY cases of vaccinated people getting infected. And again, try to think : if the vax works, you don't have to be afraid. If it doesn't work there is nothing you can do. Try not to fall for the propaganda. If you really feel you need a vaccine against a flu on steroids than you can wait for something more safe such as novavax. The current bunch of experimental emergency use only <deleted> is not to be trusted. (Yes check the facts, ALL of them are in that category inclusive pfizer, the new FDA approval is not for the current "vaccine") Contrary to you, i don't blame people who take the vaccine and make it more dangerous for me, contrary to you i believe in personal freedom for medical choices, contrary to you i know about the Nurnberg code. Contrary to you i believe in uniting instead of dividing.

I am talking about the situation this day, week, month, not what happened before. Why you try to steer the discussion that way when it's clearly NOT ABOUT THE PAST. Sorry for the caps, but your arguments are about as useful as bringing up the 40 million+ deaths of the spanish flu as a reason to not open the borders now. End of discussion from my side, enjoy life.
-
Stop scaremongering, the virus is on it's way out, if you want to learn from the past then look at the spanish flu that took 2,5 years to go on it's own, this one is much much less problematic and will go on it's own as well. With or without the jab. And again, the current situation in mexico is better than in Thailand, so where am i wrong exactly ? Arguments please.
-
The past is the past, the present is the present and the number of cases in Mexico today is 8.800 which is lower than in Thailand and that with a much bigger population. Stop scaremongering over past events that don't reflect the current reality. edit : meanwhile in thailand with only 30% vaccinated we have days again that the death toll on the road is higher than the number of people that die -with- covid. Again look at the UK with 3x more cases than Thailand. The vax works but only for 4/6 moths.
-
So wait a minute : If the vax works then why do we need tests, and if it doesn't work then why do we need a vax. But that's logical thinking which is in very short supply everywhere on the world in the last 20 months. Other than that : COE ?, Silly C19 insurance ? 21 kilo of paperwork still required ? Plus think about it ; 2x 100 Euro for the pcr, 250 euro for the insurance, makes for a total of 450 Euro in expenses which is about the cost of the flight or a week in Spain. Number of tourists predicted to come : Less than 1% of pre covid numbers. The virus is on it's way out with or without the jab, just do like Mexico and a few others, live with it, open the borders and enjoy life.

You must come from a country with shopping malls, i come from Holland where there are hardly any malls, let alone coffee shops in malls that are nice to sit in. So moving here gave me : Malls ! And plenty of them Terminal 21, Central festival, Central marina, Tropical garden paradise, Avenue and some completely useless ones like Mike's and Harbour Coffee shops inside malls ! From 19 Baht for a fantastic drink in Marina to Starbucks where you need a monthly salary for a drink Girls in malls !, not that fat, grumpy, unhappy old lot, but youngish, happy, smiley cute ladies. Some only in a t-shirt without anything else Market prices in some places, bought a long trouser and a top for my girl yesterday for 400 baht total in 21 Thai tea, coffees with weird extra's and toilets with 14 options to heat your bum and.... bumguns ! Totally different experience from shopping around in the Netherlands with dreary weather, impossible parking, crazy prices and a waitress that would rather kill you than serve the 239 baht coffee. *For those with interpretation problems : I mean this in a funny way, there are other reasons to be in thailand than just the malls, but they sure help.

Dear Thai people, it is so simple : All we want is the right to buy 1 house on our name. Just limit the land size to 1 or 2 rai, and the number of parcels you can own to 1. By the way, dear Thai people, you can fly to Europe / USA tomorrow and buy a house on your name, or 20 if you want. Same rights please.

You are partly right, the true positive can only be said after 8 years when I sell it again, but that's a long time to wait with writing. I strongly disagree that the company route is a problem. My social circle in Thailand is maybe exceptional, about 90 percent of my friends own homes in exactly the same way, one of them totaling 80 million baht. Like i said in 8 years the value of the house really isn't important anymore. If due to some unforeseen crazy disaster i would lose the 6m tomorrow, it would be bad but not life changing. Anyway my 2 cents, I'm aware I'm in a forum full of renters and bargirlboinkers (joke)
