  1. Hi everyone 🙂, Im currently 30 years old and been here on Non-O multiple entry based on marriage from Savannakhet for the last 3 years. It was the best option for me because I travel out of Thailand often (work and holidays). Since they are moving to e-visa system and probably will not offer Non-O multi again Im looking for new options. I was in Europe whole October and November for work and entered Thailand on 2.12.2024 on visa exemption and deciding now what to do. IO upon entering asked why I dont have visa this time so I told him that its expired, got a new passport because I run out of pages in my previous one (which was true) and Im gonna apply for a new one soon. Im married to Thai and travel for work to Europe at least 2 times per year. Usually I stay in Europe for 2-4 months, depends on work. I have my own business that I can manage from abroad so DTV visa based on workcation would probably be a good option. I have more than 500k in my EU account but its not seasoned yet. It has been there only since the beggining of December. What would be the best option for me regarding my situation ? Does the money for DTV visa needs to be seasoned ? If yes, then for how long ? Or every embassy have different rules regarding this ? If it has to be seasoned lets say for 6 months would it better now to convert my visa exemption to non non-O extension based on marriage ? If I understand correctly, the money needs to be seasoned for 2 months in Thai bank account. If I move the money to the Thai bank account on 11.12.2024 does it mean I can apply for extension on 11.2.2025 (assuming I would have 3 logs in bank book from each month with balance over 400k). The reason I ask for this is because I fly to Japan for businness trip on 1.3.2025 for 19 days. Then go back to Thailand for about a month and then go to Europe for 3 months (all flights already booked). I would like to sort out this situation before leaving to Europe. If the money for DTV visa does not have to be seasoned I would probably prefer to apply for DTV somewhere nearby Thailand (Taiwan, Laso, Cambodia etc....). Are there any friendly embassies around ? Thanks for the answers.
  2. Thanks a lot for the report. Went to Savannakhet already but will try HCMC next year. If they want copy of the all bank book pages then its same like in Savannakhet. Just to be clear. Did you season the money in the bank account for some months or just deposited before you applied ? Someone reported that they asked for 6 month bank statement with 400 k balance. HCMC is more fun :)
  3. Money doesnt have to be in Thai bank account. But this can change anytime They will issue you single entry without the bank statement. I think they prefer the Thai bank accounts because they are more credible ? Anyone can fake a foreign bank statement. Its not that difficult. I read some stories that they randomly ask people to show them the foreign banking app to match random transactions to see if they are correct. Im not sure about the Laos visa question. It doesnt make any sense for me.
  4. I think its just because they want to have complete history. Not sure for what though :)
  5. I didnt marry in Thailand so I show my original marriage certificate (with translation) from my country and give them signed copies. I give them also copy of Kor Ror 22 to be precise but that is included in the marriage certifacte translation.
  6. Hi everyone, I went to Savannakhet 2 days ago to apply for multiple non-o visa based on marriage. Arrived at embassy at 8:20 am. The line is not crazy long as what it used to be. Maybe like 30 people on Wednesday and 40 on Thursday. It looks like that after new requirements (400k THB) not many people go there. I was out of embassy at 9:10 am. Very fast compared to previous years. Here is what they wanted from me: Filled out visa application 2 passport photos Passport Signed copy of my passport Signed copy of wife´s passport Signed copy of wife´s ID card Signed copy of wife´s Tabien Baan Signed copy of Marriage certificate. They wanted to see the original as well. Signed copy of Laos visa (entry stamp and visa sticker) Signed copies of all pages from my bank book with 400k deposited in the account. No need to season the money. I deposited 400 k into my Thai bank account 3 days before applying. They also wanted to see the orginal bank book. 5000 THB for multiple entry Staff was friendly and didnt ask any questions. I prepared also bank statements and certificate from bank but they were not interested in that. Hope it will help some of you guys
  7. I still have one valid non-o visa in old passport that experes in 3 weeks. That means if I apply for a new one I will have two valid visas in 1 passport
  8. Just to be sure. Its possible to hold two valid thai non-o visas in the same passport ?
  9. @Daithi85 Do you have some info if they could apply ? I have the same problem right now.
  10. Thanks for the info. First time I heard about this. Do you have any idea if I can still apply with the new passport ? Or in case I have to apply with the old one, can I have two valid visas at the same time in one passport ?
  11. Hello everyone, Im in Savannakhet right now. Going to apply for a non-o visa tomorrow. I have everything prepared but I have a question. I have 2 passports and they have different numbers (both are Czech passports though). My initial thought was that I will exit Thailand with my old passport because my old non-o visa expires in 3 weeks and passport is also almost full (3 pages left). Then I would enter Laos with new passport that is empty (make visa on arrival). Well I was wrong, the immigration officer forced me to enter Laos on my old passport. He said I cannot change passport. Well, that is wrong because I did it in past many times and no problem in other countries. My question is, can still apply for Thai visa tomorrow in the embassy with my new passport or I have to apply with old one ? Because the Laos stamp is in the old one. Thank you for helping me.
  12. OP in the comments confirmed that he used 3 months Thai bank account statements. Not overseas. Well I dont know what to do now 😄 If true then money needs to be seasoned ? @WebGuy can you please confirm that you got Non-O multi with only bank book copies ? Thank you.
  13. Another report from Facebook group says that you need to season the money for 3 months. Not sure if this is in case of overseas account or Thai one. Waiting for answer.
  14. Thank you so much for the update. Please let us know tomorrow if ou got multi or no. I will go there next week. Did you gave her copies of every page in bank book ?
  15. Thats what I was thinking as well 🙂 BUT They do not offer Multiple entry Non-O based on marriage in many EU countries anymore. My embassy started providing only single entry. There is whole another thread about it. some new rules are in place.
