  1. She did not return it, but returned the two photographs I supplied.
  2. Got a receipt for my application and an EMS tracking receipt for my Certificate of Residence that will be coming by mail.
  3. I think I read online that it was required and as I had one in my passport I submitted it.
  4. Think your classification would be a young "old fart."
  5. Copy of main page in passport Current visa TM6 TM30 TM47 Cost was 200 Baht. This is also for delivery by EMS for upto a couple of weeks.
  6. If it is going to be used for medical purposes, these nurses need to get cracking.
  7. This is the one I just used in Bangkok. certificate-of-residence.pdf
  8. Bet the Thai guy was smiling even more.
  9. This seems to have been happening a lot recently and not always old farts. They seem to take it for granted the effort, time and cost of these rescue operations. Not to mention the worry they put friends and family through. Why can they not be content with staying in a bar all day and getting inebriated the way a waster like me does?
  10. That is your next lottery ticket number.
  11. I was received a stamp here at Suvarnibhumi that you could hardly see. Even when I knew it was there. Maybe try really scrutinising your passport and hopefully you will find it.
  12. Has to be worth two red cards at least.
  13. I thought they were pretty restrained. Maybe it changed when Kittakarn shot a fellow officer in the head, who luckily was wearing a protective helmet.
  14. Flynn which DLT was this? Did you also show them a completed online E test certificate?
  15. Richard, one of my daughters can come visit and help out. She works nights at Bitkub, so it just a little bit awkward getting her over on her day off. Just do not want to encroach on her too much, although she is definitely willing to help. Plus I need to go the CW first for my residence letter. It is just that I am trying to cut down the amount of time away from my wife. Thank you for the nurse suggestion and will keep it in mind.
  16. I think what he meant is that by using an agent, they do all the running around and finally get you a queue ticket. That then means your actual time involved at the DLT is kept to a minimum and is a one off visit.
  17. Okay, thought I saw that somewhere. Thanks.
  18. Muhendis I did the online test a couple of weeks ago, which is valid for six months. I know a medical certificate is valid for about a month. Did you just use your Tambian Baan, or did you also have a letter of residence? If so, do you know how long this letter is valid for. If I could just walk in with the correct paperwork, this would make life much easier, instead of having to make an appointment and thus a second visit. Thanks for your info.
  19. Thanks, I never thought of an agent.
  20. Duh, of course not. I wanted information as to making an appointment to renew my license. My wife is bedridden after a stroke and as I cannot leave her alone for longer than two hours by herself, the phone is a great tool. Just like you are Kwasaki.
