  1. I did it with my Thai number.
  2. Have any dogs given it the "paws up?"
  3. Prayut's minders are good at manhandling 'old lady hecklers," but it is a different ball game when it comes to controlling someone like Chuwit.
  4. Her existing passport with annotations in it must be a red flag surely.
  5. I am sure you would need to tell them you do not want to continue using it, otherwise they will automatically deduct the 300 baht annual fee.
  6. The Turk knew well what was happening, make no doubt about it. Just used it as an excuse to execute his violent tendencies.
  7. I just did my Thai driving license renewal at Nong Chok and the good news is they use coloured lights, as opposed to faded coloured dots on a poster, to check you for colour blindness. Definitely a lot easier for those so afflicted.
  8. My daughter was born in Phetchabun thirty years ago. Somehow we lost her Thai birth registration certificate (although we had all the English translation paperwork). Anyway, we needed a copy. We went to the nearest Amphur in Bangkok and within five minutes they had printed out a copy of the original, which was duly stamped. Think it was ten baht a copy. All that was required was her Thai ID card.
  9. Doesn't Prayut use one of these, so must be okay.
  10. You are kidding? This guy is a psycho.
  11. After watching Youtube, I surmised that I just had to replace the fuse on my broken microwave. Went to a small Thai electrician who made me a new one. Replaced the new fuse in the Microwave and all hell broke loose. Noise, smoke and fire. I nearly had a heart attack. Binned it and bought a new one.
  12. I seem to remember that I used the wife's ID card. The important papers, from what I remember, pertain to you and the child. You being a Brit and the child being yours. First did it in 1994, but then you could visit the British Embassy in Bangkok, which helped. Good luck.
  13. Okay, let me try again. I did ask previously about taking the colour-blind test at DLT-4 (Nong Chok) but did not receive any help. So let me try a different tack. How did anyone who is colour-blind manage to pass the colour dot test for their driving license? In Pattaya ten years ago, I had a falang behind me whisper the colours to me. Five years ago. I was on my own and failed it twice, with the lady conducting the test, reaming me out. Think she finally had enough of me and finally said okay on the third go. Both of these were in Pattaya, but reckon there will be no fellow falang to help me at Nong Chok. So anyone got any tips on how they passed, even though though they were colour-blind and where was it. By the way, for all you bashers that think that if you fail the colour-blind test, you are not fit to be driving. That is not the case. Traffic light colours are easy to tell, but small faded dots of many colours on a board are not the same. Thanks.
  14. Better to remain anonymous, or the young "Wagner Wannabe" might hit you with his plastic stick.
  15. So a bullet to the back of the head is a distinct outcome. Bet they never saw that coming.
  16. JeffersLos You are kidding right. Was this at Nong Chok?
  17. Does anybody know what they use for the colour-blind test at Nong Chok? Is it the board with the coloured dots or a small set of lights? Thanks.
  18. Well, I would at least settle for shutting them up.
  19. "There will always be someone doing something naughty." Bad Boys.
  20. Being thirty and moving to Thailand in 1980.
