stumbled on this by accident today near subway sandwich shop...
it was set up like a fast food joint, like a taco bell back home, but the food was more homemade fresh, not bad. i'd go back for sure.

i like your accent chownah....
Ivaciclo, also you should think about is it a cement block/ concrete wall?
or do you want chain-link fence?
also there is a cheaper one which is 3 or 5 strings of barbed-wire that runs across cement posts about 1 or 2 meters high.

my true service used to be pretty decent.
lately its been much slower... anyone else?

here's another question...
Does the nature of the reason for firing affect whether or not you get severence?
i.e. what if an employer didn't want to pay, could they just say that the employee didnt do his duties?
or what idf there are financial problems at the company?

i always thought they have a midget hiding in the scanner, who helps himself to something...

does one exist, with 100% country... live band or dj....?

you can nit-pick the dollar differences but at the end of the day you should ultimately pick a place where you feel a certain connection with the people, the culture, the climate, the food, etc.
perhaps a place like malaysia may be easier on visa reg's but i certainly wouldnt want to live there. its certainly missing that happy smiley factor that thailand abounds with. i'd go so far to say that malaysia is a pretty dour place.

i got one that wasnt too bad, and had enough info on phayao-c.rai area from budget rent a car. it had quite a few of the smaller roads. enough from keeping me from getting lost.
the more comprehensive source is that big atlas at all the book stores. tho not sure if the one at big-c has the english version or not.

maybe try http://www.coolthaihouse.com/ it's not as popular as this forum, but has a few words worth reading.

this is a pretty serious thing to hypothesize about.
and klik, it would seem your friend must have some very inside info to come up with that.
so inside that he must have a contact with the perp.
either that or he's full of you know what- thai gossip.

any photos?

i think its too tough mate. the market isnt there.
unless you can get the deal that shops in the US get which is you can return the magazine for a (partial? full?)refund if it doesnt sell.

it's great he does give the maid time off. why? she's human and probably likes to see her family. how else could she see them? don't you enjoy a few days off from your job?
thats called a decent employer. also that keeps the maid happy with the arrangement and she probably does a better job.

i'm not sure, but the common word is that when thais dont want dogs anymore they dump them at a wat. those dogs then have puppies.
sorry cant specify a certain one.
but you could also contact soi dog rescue http://www.soidogrescue.org/ they have an adoption service
also the thai spca (society for prevention of cruelty to ani,\mals)

thanks for all the great answers....

dont forget that a big store like tesco also give jobs to many many local thai people.
the small stores will have to learn to offer something that the big doesnt. some added value service or different product.
-
would you consider adopting a thai dog?
theres no need to spend unless you want a certain breed. the temples are full of strays and baby puppies as well, i believe, that you could rescue. and as long as they were quite young, there'd be no trauma, and thus be good for kids.

i understand that for thai's who have worked at a co. for 1 year they are entitled to 3 months of salary for exit package. and after 3 years they are entitled to 6 months worth of salary.
does this hold true for farang working in bangkok, with proper work permit etc? or is it that if he is on a contract he is uneligible. my contract says nothing about it either way.
thanks.
