1. He really looks like a studious person
2. You would think a modern It system should be able to cross check against in Interpol database - oh, I forgot, its makes immigration officials taking payments ie like Chuwit said more easy.

In reality - there is so much which can be done. I have worked on process simplification ie too change a massively used application process from 18 mins down to 1.5 mins... had a huge impact on queues and customer satisfaction.
Should get the guys who designed the thai passport application process to help them revisit the process, for anyone who has applied for a new thai passport in bangkok, the process is amazing and world class.
An ooh, there are world class Work Force Management systems which can give you queue prediction and resources required - accuracy is about 97% for 15 mins intervals ie predict arrivals on a Saturday in 2 months from now at 9:15pm.

Have you considered talking to a doctor? You know, they studied humans and are generally known to give medical advice.
I could eat a bowl of alphabet soup and dump a better statement.

Was the reading of 117 taken in the morning after fasting overnight? If so, possibly pre-diabetes.
Have an HbA1c test and see if your long-term glucose levels are within acceptable levels. Also take a glucose challenge test to see if your blood glucose levels spike.
If you discover Type 2 early and change diet and lifestyle, Type 2 can be reversed. Even if it is too late to be reversed, it can be managed to keep it from progressing rapidly and thus delay the very serious effects of this disease.
yes.
normally about 104, but I was really loading up on sweets the week prior.
but now 77 - also prior to eating. But I fast 16 hours now

Thanks for all the advice. Insightful.

BMI 30+ and eating way too much sugary stuff, my last blood sugar measurement was 117 on the 120 = Diabetes scale. A worry for many reasons...
Started immediately on Intermittent Fasting (IF) - 8 hours eat what I want, but a lot less sweet stuff, 16 hours only water or black coffee.
Weight dropped quick, but strangely Blood Sugar measurements taken over the last week using the same machine / method has been 88, 90 and today 77 which is staggering.
Is this the real situation now, or is it just low cause I take the reading before breakfast and I am still pre-diabetic ?
p.s. - I find IF quite easy, can still eat relatively normally, just have to wait a bit longer in the morning.

As you know, Thai's needs to apply for a lot of visas. The Mrs travels for work a lot, and we are planning a holiday to Europe in December, but passport will be with the embassy for ie 2 or more weeks, which is tough for her as she is almost every week on a plane.
Some countries, for business people, they allow 2 passports at the same time for these reasons - one passport with Embassy waiting for visa stamp, whilst traveling on the other.
Does anyone know if this is possible for Thai's ?
Thanks

Back home I bought 2nd hand car parts at car junk yards.
Here, I just looked for "used car parts" in Google maps.
There seem to be lots of shops i.e. here (see map).
If you don't want to use Google then I suggest ask a Thai with an old truck where to buy used parts. I am pretty sure some will be able to give you some ideas. And after you found the first shop then you can get more specific and search for your turbo.
Thanks !

What about the weather which was sever back in 2010 was it when many of the overpasses were covered? I remember flying into Bangkok when the water was dispersing and still I could see the back end of cars sticking out of the water on flyovers.
Why do these people always want to make it sound so dramatic as if there has never been very heavy rain in the rainy season before? Attention seeking are they or just jumping on the official narrative?
Your referring to the the year when Banharn decided to keep more water in the dams cause he was smarter

I really hope their smart enough to bundle it in ie the air ticket price or other ways. If not, the extra processing time will clog up immigration....
..what do I care ???? - I go through the local channel

Doing a silly project which may be something one day... looking for an old Turbo from a truck or large car which still works. Any idea where to get a 2nd hand one in BKK?

Many travel insurance policies will cover trip cancellation or delay if the cause is an otherwise covered accident, illness or event occurring during a specified time period prior to departure (often 30 days) and which necessitates the cancellation or delay.
There are insurers domiciled in Thailand that can provide such coverage, but I'd suggest you use a good insurance broker to find an insurer with a policy that best suits your needs.
Thanks... any particular names ? can message me if dont want to post
Thanks

Planning a Europe holiday end of year, and going in a group with friends. Main concern, if we get covid or anything happens prior to departure, all our bookings lost ( hotels, flights, car rental etc ).
Does anyone know where can get insurance which will cover the whole trip incase something like the above happens ?
Thanks
