too bad people don't know UV light can kill things, not silly sprays...

you know they use special uv machine to de-infect operating rooms, right

They are known as ozone generators.two types,uv light or corona discharge units.you can buy them on eBay.they work on the principle of generating O3 and attatch to other molecules and the 3rd atom of O3 frees itself to the bacteria or virus and kills it.

  2. Once again it's a .....good luck with that one.i know of a few farang that are thinking of riding out the virus in their home countries as Thailand is a <deleted> poor place to be in to be ill in or raped by the hospitals for treatment.

i think they should just man up and face the facts that there will be no tourism for the foreseeable future and it won't come back like switching a light on.no one will be wanting to visit a 3rd world country while there's a deadly pandemic.

  3. No indicators as far as I can see.obviously not using the mirror, cutting across the lanes.then flees the scene.i just wonder if she's even got a license.nice lady in total denial as usual.

ive been fined 500b (mugged)a couple of times at a checkpoint for being in the wrong lane and being white.she will probably get the same as it's only Burmese who shouldn't be in Thailand.i have a phobia about white cars with black windows and driven by a woman and steer well clear of them.

  4. Something is wrong in this report.its the first one I've read about the virus and has no bleating about no tourism and losing money.

the whole world should be on lockdown from when the first case was reported outside of china.sod the financial markets and the closing down of factories and everything.it looks like the human race will have to learn the hard way.in the future we will have to look back and learn where we went wrong because there will definitely be more and more deadly viruses in the future.

i also think the climate change hysteria and alarmism can now take a back seat.

  5. I've just cleared the village pharmacy of Zithromax, the antibiotic that treats pneumonia..also ive started a course of oral iodine.nothing like being prepared.

this virus will come and there's no stopping it in this 3rd world country.i don't care for bs facts, graphs, tests that get it wrong and bs incompetent governments who have helped to spread this virus.

If you have a underlying medical condition, heart, lungs, organs then first comes the virus followed by pneumonia and then it looks like it will find a window of opportunity and attack the weakest organ in your body.other than that its just a roll of the dice jobbie.

  6. Luckily my 4 properties are rented to retired expats and that are not going anywhere too soon.

it looks like a big recession is on its way with this virus.if I was at home in the uk I certainly wouldn't risk coming to a 3rd world country where the medical facilities are expensive money pits for foreigners.

theres good news on the horizon though.TAT this week quoted the virus can't live in this heat and it will all blow away, also the Chinese will come back and swamp Thailand with tourism.

myself I see it as 3-6 months of virus running wild through Thailand and a slight recovery after song Kram in a year or so.

if I was in a business involving and depending on tourism I would be looking at some other business because this is just the start.

theres no hope of seeing many Chinese flowing back after this is over as they will mostly be bankrupt and the last thing they will be thinking about is a jolly holiday.

Maybe the PM should ensure the future of Chinese tourism in Thailand by going to the airports and personally meeting and greeting and shaking hands with all new Chinese arrivals in Thailand?

Nothing to worry about, surely, it's all 100% under control, lol.

The bio metric finger scanner will have the the desired effect of spreading this virus.i bet it don't get cleaned as much as my car.

they are clueless to what is going on.just take a look at the picture.if someone walks into that hospital who's infected the two nurses are the first in line for a dose.

  8. It's now been reported as highly infectious even after the patient has recovered they can still pass it on.china should af been on full lock down from day 1.looks like we all can expect to catch it.i spoke to a friend last night and I might be going to stay at his house when the first report of the virus hits udon thani.ill be taking my freezer and and stocking up for a few weeks with food n beer and staying in the mountains away from everyone as I have a heart condition and can do without this problem.

its not the virus that is the problem it's the governments and their incompetence that's the real problem.

  9. 15% down isn't enough.should be 100% with the threat of coronavirus.

i don't know what the chances are of containing this virus because if 1 person on the flight has got it then the chances are very high that it will infect others and not show up when being checked for temperature at the airport as it will be in the very first stage and not showing any signs of infection.then it can be easily transferred when everyone sticks their hands on the biometric machine.

  10. Thais always claim to have spent the money.only yesterday one of my residents who is in his late 80s notice 65,000b missing from his account.oh she spent it she claimed the carer.my mrs got wind of it and was on the case within minutes and hey presto got nearly all of it back.even when caught they will try their best and somehow think they have claim to the ill gotten gains.natural born thieves and liars but the best part of it is that it's part of the culture as they say.

also this week a friend noticed that when surveying his land that something wasn't right.his water bill had been over 1,000b a month for some time.the Thai neighbor had tapped into his supply and also started growing 3 metres on to his land.when an official came from the amphur to resolve the matter the neighbor went ballistic when caught and try to blame my friend.

ive heard of having to screw things down to stop them go missing but thais can go one further and steal the land you screw things down to as well.

they seem to have the mindset that they have a right to steal from farang with the second choice being their own countrymen.

i know of people who have the 1-year Non-Imm-O Multi Entry based on marriage to a Thai, who at the very end of the 1-year validity of this visa get granted an application for 60 more days, which means you can get a maximum of 14 months out of the visa and the 60-day permit of stay. Upon the exhaustion just go visit Savannakhet or HCMC and apply for a new 1-year Multi Entry Non-Imm-O based on marriage without having to show any finances. This option is widely open to the guy !

Shall I repeat: No finances needed !

Border runs required every 90 days to keep the visa alive and receive 90-day stay permits upon each entry.

Requirements regarding the marriage certificates, passports and house books can be had on the websites of both consulates.

Savannakhet and HCMC are still walk-in consulates, no online appointments needed. In HCMC he needs US Dollars cash to pay. The visa fee is likely the equivalent of 5000 THB

I use this method and have no problems what so ever.dont mind doing the 90 day border run as it only takes a few hours and I get duty free and a quick run around in the casino.
