It's ridiculous to say there isn't any ageism.  Do you see professional athletes over the age of 50????  maybe 1 in a zillion.  football players in their 40's more agile than a young kid?  maybe 1 in a zillion.  more people in their 40's forget if the light was on, wondering where they put their keys, and they forget a lot more than when they were younger.  This is scientifically proven.   Sure, I've seen the old guys going 11 kph on their scooter in the middle of the road without a helmet, likely thinking they are speed racer; oblivious to the 1 million cars honking at them.   If you have money for a car, buy one.  even a bicycle is safer than a scooter, since you have more options and cars generally don't treat them as vehicles (exceptions, sure).  just go play some sports with young kids and you'll soon realize your body is slower, weaker, and your brain just not as sharp.    Ageism is a huge thing.

Ageism doesn't come into it when your a silly old fool that still kids himself he's as sharp as Valentino Rossi.

Well the courts and the judge don't seem to agree with you.

Have you been studying the case every day, seen all the evidence that was presented? Yet you assume that he is guilty and the courts don't, or is it just your opinion.

If you think that the judge and the courts were taking bribes from him, then submit a formal complaint with all your evidence.

Perhaps they were bribed and perhaps they were not. I certainly have no idea, and if the truth be known, neither do you.

So what's the excuse for the dirty money ending up in his bank.was it just luck like some sort of lottery ticket odds.

forget about Thai courts and judges because they are joke of justice as proven in the past.

you only got to ask yourself if it was you in his shoes do you think you would be walking free now?

  3. I just watched a story of global companies in china moving out and heading for Vietnam.it makes no economic sense to set up a company in a country where the currency is out of control and then have to sell/export goods.

take Harley Davidson, built a factory that must of cost some ridiculous amount.then they have to sell them in Asia at the baht rate.oh and to top the lot the Thai government have now slapped 100,000b extra tax on motorcycles over 1,000cc which I see as purely aimed at HD as many other manufacturers don't produce many models over that size engine.

i bet HD are now regretting the move.

  4. I've not got any worries.ive blended in so well with the Thai way and I've now not got a pot to pish in.oh tell a lie,I've got 630b in an account for emergencies.no money no worries,Thai style.

as long as I've got food on the table, bills paid, gas in the scooter I'm happy.i couldn't give a toss about the baht, pound, bank stealing my money, being ripped off, life is ok believe it or not.

in fact a lot of my pals have pensions, shares, savings and they don't seem very happy to me and quite a few of them have too much time and money on their hands and drink too much.

Yes the young are the only ones who can instill change

    They are Thailand's only hope

Yes a bit like AOC and illam Omar can do for the US or young Tony Blair did for the uk.come to think of it Fidel Castro was quite a youngster and he certainly changed things.i have no faith in any politician no matter what age they may be.power in the end converts the lot of them.
