It reminds me that the city police did not find any kind of prostitution in the same city a few weeks ago.

How is it that WE all, Expats/foreigners, can find all the 'hookers' that we want? We can spot then a 'mile away'...

And yet...THE 'ROYAL THAI POLICE', an intelligent and professional organization, ( hahaha) can seldom find a prostitute (unless she a Nigerian/foreign hooker???)

Could it be us 'farangs' don't get all those famous 'Brown Envelopes'???     LOL

What did she expect allowing Pattaya hookers to rent the place. Same as i would never allow a foreign that was a alcoholic or dealt with hookers to rent my place even for a night. You are only asking for trouble.

May I inquire how you would know if they were alcholic or dealt with hookers "before renting your place" to them........ Are you a physic and can foresee this happening?.....Or is this post happening when the (YOUR) mouth is 'in motion' but the (YOUR) 'Brain is in NEUTRAL'?

There definitely is tracking available from UK to Thailand, I've bought many eBay items from UK sellers and it's very unusual for them not to be tracked.

It's academic, of course, if the seller didn't use the very cheap Royal Mail tracked/signed for post, but why would you think that you'd be considered a scammer for enquiring (if they had been tracked), but you don't think that the seller could be?

    Hope they turn up eventually.

Maybe it is KARMA coming back to you.... If they don't turn up.....

Why are you forever leaving 'SAD' Emoji's on my posts...... I will give you a taste of your own 'Pudding'.....

Always count on the Thai army, to NOT improve life for the masses. Apathy at best. Contempt for the common man, at worst.

You are criticising a 'Diety' such as God or Buddha here. The Thai Army is now 'sacred'

    In recent news: I quote:

In this Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, file photo, Thai army chief Gen. Apirat Kongsompong reviews the guard of honor during the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day ceremony at a military base in Bangkok, Thailand. Photo: Sakchai Lalit / Associated Press
    mail?url=https%3A%2F%2Fads5.matichon.co.

Reforming the Thai army is much easier said than done. After all, the current army chief Gen Apirat Kongsompong himself called the Royal Thai Army a “sacred” organization, setting the tone of whatever debate the society may have.

When someone wants an organization to be treated as sacred, it’s often because they want it to be above criticism, accepting neither scrutiny nor accountability. These days, even the Vatican is no longer sacred because it can be openly criticized, yet Apirat said last week that people shouldn’t criticize the army because it’s a sacred organization.

  5. Let me mention one more possibility. Unless, of course, This becomes repetitive more times.

I have seen similar things that were accidental, out of stupidity and laziness.  Picture a Repairmans pickup on a job site, Him or his young inexperienced 'helper' has a hand full of these screws when his phone rings inside the pickup so he puts the handful of screws on the roof of the truck while he reaches inside for the phone..... Whoever is calling distracts him and he leaves the spot soon and just down the road somewhere the screws fall off on the road. No ill intent but none the less damage is caused.

The theory of intentional damage is certainly valid BUT this is also possible.

I always like to hear the 'other side of a story' before forcing screws into anybody's head as was proposed above.

The constitution's 2017 organic law on political parties has come into effect after it was royally endorsed and published in the Royal Gazette on Saturday.

The 2017 Constitutional Act on Political Parties, which was endorsed by His Majesty the King on Sept 30, consists of 152 sections.

     And so it says that

Thanathorn et al is Wrong and will get his butt kicked and maybe Going to jail soon. ????

    I wouldn't be so sure.

And if he does go to jail you can bet that there will be a lot of fight, NO EASY KNOCK_OFF..

And now the EU, USA, and Canada have made it known that 'THEY' are watching the situation and are aware of the 'real reason' for disolving the FF party.

The whole world is watching the Thai Gov't now (except China who are so busy now).   China is too busy to cover 'little brother's' (or is it 'little sister's') butt now.

Srisuwan is a despicable human being. Many people think him to be so. Remove him from society.

Seems the illegal loan to the party was about 191 million THB....

I think this guy and the gov't will be looking for ways  (if they haven't yet) to funnel that money into their own pockets (Keeping it out of view of US and UE)

You can bet they are drooling over that money...

  8. Those machines are 'Thieves'..... They are designed with Not enough pressure' on the tongs to grab and 'HOLD' the weight of the toy... Only borderline stregnth so maybe one time out of a hundred it will hold on to the toy....

They are moneymaking thievs... I'm actually amazed that the RTP hasn't used them to make 'More' money.... LOL   But I guess they are making enough from all the roadblock 'Helmet' checks...

Can you just imagine what they will be able to do with some 'SMART SUBMARINES'?

Meanwhile there is no improvement in 'schools' and 'Medical Care' for the poor.....

I had not considered Vietnam anyway. HCM has the worst air in SE Asia. Worse than Bangkok. And more congestion, if that is possible. And I find alot of the people to be heavy hearted, and not particularly nice. And who wants to live under a commie government, anyway?

    HEADS UP ----

Keep an eye on where Thailand is headed. (or on the 'brink')

  11. As an American, I can only hope that the US will see this and use it to screen migrators (immigrants), but leave the illegal Latins alone UNLESS they catch them for criminal offences --- THEN Deport them....

Where I live in California many friends and neighbors are hard working illegals, it is only 'a few of their own' that spoil it.... Very few, percentage wise....

However I dislike what I see of muslim immigrants coming into so many countries and trying to convert those 'host' countries to muslim rule (law).   I DON'T WANT THEM...... (period)

it is called a Scotoma ????

    I HAD TO GOOGLE THAT.

A scotoma is an area of partial alteration in the field of vision consisting of a partially diminished or entirely degenerated visual acuity that is surrounded by a field of normal – or relatively well-preserved – vision.

Yes. I think we both got it....... LOL

But thanks to that kwaibah (My Thai translates that to crazy buffalo) 555.... we both have corrected our understanding of the article).   I an indebted to kwaibah but i still resent the 'SAD' emojis in such a innocent matter as this.  Cheers

I was about to leave a 'confused' emoji, which I would have regretted NOW that I went back and re-read the article. NOW I can see 'Reuters showed 70 years in one place and 75 years in another place.

I am embarrased that I almost claimed you wrong, when you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

i OWE YOU A THANK YOU (AND SORRY) EMOJI.... AND WILL DO THAT NOW.   Cheers....

the liquor tax increase didn't help did it?

It may have HELPED a few.

A few govt/rich folks fill their own pockets, is who it helped.

And possibly in a round-about way it may have helped buy a few Tanks and Armoured Personell Carriers to be used against their own people when the Hong Kong protests break out here.

Could be from that cruise ship that was near recently all the virus test paraphernalia.

NEVER!.   Cruises ships have proper sanitary means of disposal. Their well trained medical staffs are ever alert for dangers such as this. I CAN'T HOWEVER say the same for the locals.

I can't believe that any clinic would do this, but who knows.  TIT (This Is Thailand)

A personal thought i've had is that a couple cases are very possible,

    1. Some doper broke into a clinic looking for drugs, grabbed a bunch of things and thinking stese syringes would be nice took them too. Then later got worried and dumped them. Let's wait to see if they tie it to any clinic break-ins.

    2. Some clinic cleaning crews had cleaned a clinic after hours and one member of the crew wound up with the duty to take these to an authorized disposal place, but found it easier to dispose of them her thinking that 'Nobody would know'.

I'm just thinking out loud.   We will have to wait and maybe know more.

IMHO -- it would NOT have come off a cruise ship.
