The first law the US needs to sort out is to return illegals when they are caught. Foreign policy and foreign aid can do this.
The US has thousands of miles of unpatrolled coast and the Canadian border.
Give me enough money and a freedom pass and I can enter at anytime.
I definitely don't want to live or stay. Too many gun crazy rednecks.
If your 1st bold font statement above means end "catch and release", I could not agree more. (Trump favors this as well.)
Your 2nd bold font statement, is the best news I've heard all day.

We spend billions and billions and billions every year on illegal migration. Stemming that flow & the hemorrhaging of cash would pay for the wall itself extremely quickly.
Excellent point!
Many of the illegals are very needy people with very low skills. Their healthcare, education, housing, etc costs are enormous. Milton Friedman proved 20 years ago that you cannot be a welfare state AND an open border state. You must shut down one or the other.
Further, those that believe walls are ineffective should ask the Israelis.

I said in another post some while ago,if you are into big time drug smuggling 99.9% of the time you will end up dead or in jail.
99.9%!! Wow, that .9% implies a level of accuracy that I seriously doubt exists.
Next, if it is accurate, I am seriously considering getting into the "big time drug business". I mean, I can say that those of us non-big time drug dealers will end up 100% of the time... DEAD! And I can further say that with a great deal of certainty.
According to your stats 0.1% of the time big time drug dealers will NOT end up dead. That's a better chance than the rest of us have.
On the other hand, what exactly happens to that 0.1%? Do they join the ranks of the un-dead?

Yep, the last time Obama extended a hand via the Iranian Nuclear deal, the following week the Iranians organized a huge "death to America" march.
Most Americans see this on the news and ask, "Why are we dealing with these nut jobs?"

Do not know what the Iranians are worried about.
Plenty of American companies ready to circumvent sanctions.
Not only is that clearly an over statement, but even European companies seeking to do business in the US are abandoning Iran. They are doing this in spite of the EU's attempt to keep the current agreement intact.
The Iranians are worried about the loss of oil revenue! With their imploding economy, this will force them to spend even more on their own people (food, energy, and housing subsidies etc.) leaving far less to support their interventions in the rest of the middle east.

Simply a brilliant move! This is probably the best way to convince Americans that Trump's sanctions are misguided.

Wait just one minute here... Why is anyone in Thailand happy about the recent report?
Thailand went down in the listing! That's the wrong direction! There is no improvement WHATSOEVER.

Yes I agree, Chinese around where we live are quite well-heeled and seem to have found ways to circumvent the capital flight aspect, I also agree that FDI and shadow banking are significant issues but that can't be long lived, the fundamentals of China as an economy remain intact so it's just a matter of time before things improve considerably.
I agree things should improve, but... and a very big BUT is IP theft. Trump administration has made visible what has been known, but not talked about.
CEO's around the world will face serious backlash from their shareholders if they continue to ignore this serious problem. Meanwhile, the Chinese refuse to admit there is even a problem.
This could go on for quite a while. I'm not optimistic of a quick resolution.

Chinese friends tell us this is a currency issue, the Yuan is down by 10% thanks to Trumps trade war, that's why they are not coming here, but they are visiting Japan in droves apparently.
The Yuan currency decline certainly makes Thailand more expensive than other destinations, but that's not the entire story. The Chinese have implemented currency controls to prevent the flight of Yuan from China. In addition, the trade war has severely limited Foreign direct investment in China, so the government is stepping in, but already has a serious debt problem.
My guess is Chinese leaders would rather see their citizens buying bonds rather than traveling.

I will start injection supplements; 4 shots over 8 weeks and then retested to decide of oral supplements or more injections are needed. I found some info on oral supplements on the website. Pretty informative
Sam, I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency several years ago and I had multiple symptoms. Doc said only solution was injections every month for the rest of my life.
That didn't sound too good to me, so I asked my local pharmacy if they had any suggestions. They explained to me that people over sixty often have this problem and it's caused by a lack of intrinsic factor being produced by your body. Without sufficient intrinsic factor, it makes no difference how much B12 you ingest, it won't make any difference.
They mentioned that some scientists in Sweden had studied taking B12 in sublingual form and had some success with some people. Sublingual, of course, completely bypasses your intestines and requires no intrinsic factor. Problem is very little is absorbed this way, so you need to take daily and in relatively large doses.
I take 2500mcg daily and after 20 days my symptoms all disappeared and my blood tests came in "on the high side of normal". There is little risk of taking too much since B12 is water soluble and you just pee out the excess.
Other huge advantage is by taking daily, your B12 levels are stable and don't drop down until you get your next injection.
Anyhow, I am grateful to the Swedes as it worked for me and for me anyhow, a daily sublingual tablet is far, far better than injections. It's also far, far cheaper.
Now, you do have to keep the dissolved tablet under your tongue for a minimum of 30 seconds. If you simply swallow, it won't really do anything.
Anyhow, I recommend you try this. It doesn't work for everyone, but when it works, it is a nice solution.

The rest of the world would be wise to start ensuring that the large US conglomerates start to pay taxes on the money earned in the same country instead of allowing them to shift money around to avoid these taxes.
I agree with that AND reduce tariffs to zero. Then those terrible US conglomerates can shut those inefficient factories and build everything in the US.

That simple minded solution of going after China makes zero sense.
Look if we want China to reduce their tariffs on US goods, how do we answer the Chinese when they say, "Well, you allow the EU to tax the hell out of your products"?
Trump is right to demand "fair trade" from everyone. Look we have shuttered factories everywhere and millions of Mexicans who want to work in them. We can produce everything we get from EU and China.

Red Hen is demonstrating just another liberal case of TDS. Nothing really special here.
The only interesting part of this is what happens to the Red Hen. I mean when Trump supporters stop eat at Red Hen. Do they really think those limousine liberals would be caught dead eating their greasy chicken?

While no one wants to execute the wrong person, you are ignoring modern technology such as CCTV, DNA, etc where we can determine with a fairly high degree of accuracy the perpetrator.
To never allow the death penality you end up with terrorists like the blind sheik who killed 18 people and then spent the next 18 years converting fellow prisoners to his radical ideology. Of course you could keep him in isolation, but according to the courts that would be "cruel and unusual".

"Sounds good until you learn that US made vehicles get hit with a 25% tax upon entering the EU. 25%!!!!! "
Where did you get those numbers?
"The standard tariff for importing cars to the U.S. is 2.5 percent of their value. For pickup trucks and commercial vans, the tariff is a whopping 25 percent. Individual European countries don’t charge import duties, but the European Union charges a flat rate of 10 percent on imported automobiles." https://www.caranddriver.com/features/free-trade-cars-why-a-useurope-free-trade-agreement-is-a-good-idea-feature
25% is the total of "border adjustment" taxes.
Your are neglecting to factor in the scam known as VAT, which is applied in addition to tariffs.

Trump again is applying layers of misinformation.. For example the 270% tariff on US dairy product only applies to specific item/s and only if US imports exceed an already agreed quota. BTW if Canada waived quotas on US dairy imports would likely destroy the Canadian dairy industry.
To me Trump's unilateral 'America First' ideology, is either wilfully or by ignorance, going to the destroy world trade system that has provided stability and dispute resolution under WTO rules. If Trump wishes to resolve his concerns he should work though the WTO, not via an ideological platform which pragmatically translates as 'you lose, I win'. Among the losers will be the US worker if Trump carries on his current course with steel and aluminium tariffs, who are forecast to lose more than 400k jobs across the manufacturing supply chain.
OK, now I understand!
Canada cannot waive tariffs on diary because it would destroy Canada's diary industry. At the same time Canada must strenuously protest Trump's aluminum tariffs even though everyone (including Canada) is working to destroy the US's aluminum industry?
Now I guess that seems fair to the never Trumpers.
As for the WTO, it is a total ... wait for it... JOKE!
Don't believe me take your complaints about Trump's tariffs to the WTO and in two or three years you might get an answer. We in the US have won hundreds of cases against China, which up till now China has totally ignored. That is, nothing has changed.

Yes, you did miss. Trump jumped in and answered!
He knows he is shaking the tree. Those tariffs on US goods protect Canadian workers and help fund the government. Resetting to zero would be as politically unpopular in Canada as resetting to zero in Germany.
No easy answers, but Trump is NOT going to negotiate for the next three years. He want serious negotiations now and further, I believe he is correct that negotiating with Canada and Mexico separately would be easier.

No chance. Any word about divorce and she laughs - even at signing to register the marriage. That will cost me a one-time payment of EUR 100,000. Just to get her to sign the registration.
Seems to me, you have no choice, but to change her attitude.
Not an easy task, but I would try the following:
1. Each month start reducing the cash you give her (keep the school and landlord payments intact)
2. When she complains make up an excuse tied to your new "girl friend"
(i.e. girlfriend's father needed surgery, sick buffalo, girlfriends mother got stepped by an elephant, etc)
Each time tell her you are sorry, but these were "unplanned" necessary expenses and you are glad now that you don't have a legal divorce mandating fixed monthly payments.
Do you see the idea here? You need to demonstrate that a guaranteed monthly check is in her best interests. Otherwise, more and more will be drained off to your new (fictious) girlfriend's family.
She will slowly, based upon how creative you are with the excuses, figure that out for herself.

Speaking of Trudeau, there was a press conference and a reporter teed up a question for Trudeau:
"Are you disappointed that President Trump is leaving 4 hours before the G7 summit ends?"
Trump answered immediately: "He's happy!" Cracking up everyone!

Yep, your silly ass Trudeau would never agree to Trump's proposal of free trade - zero tariffs. No, he must protect Canadian farmers and union workers.
Go ahead flip the bird and get reciprocal tariffs. Then Canada can sell to China instead. Go right ahead. I've even send you the maps of China.

I doubt many people in Germany would buy a U.S. auto even it if cost 50% less, after we set up transportation, distribution, sales, service, etc. And maybe a few neo-Nazis would go for a Harley?
Total nonsense. Germans buy cars from Spain and some from the US even when taxed at 25%. Cut those taxes and we'll just see.

During a meeting in Washington, he accused Merkel of being "so protectionist" in her trade policies, and again raised the issue of German automobiles in the United States. Merkel explained that if she lowered barriers for US cars entering Germany, she would have to do the same for other countries."
Complicated right. So, we'll tax the hell out of you, but you better not tax us.

Well, clearly the mayor of London is against Brexit. He thinks the UK needs more "peace loving" Muslims.
You know... like they have in France. I mean only 3 dead and a dozen wounded. That's nothing!
Plus other peace loving Muslims hiding the killer. Yep, UK should become more like France.
