    Yes

I too entered on a visa exempt (3rdmarch) ...extended @ Petchaburi immigration office 31 march until 1st may . My question is do I need to go back and extend again ? Now the UK embassy is not issuing and letters should I have a problem .

I've had 3 flights canceled and now hopefully plan to fly out 2nd July.

Thanks in advance for any advice .

I had the normal Tourist 30 extension to the 28 March.

I had a flight back to the UK for the 26th March that was cancelled by Ethiad.

I went to the Udonthani immigration office on the 30th March (28th was a Saturday so ok) and got a Coronavirus Extension until the 14 April where I was instructed to come back to get it re-extended on the 14th April.

I got a phone call from the immigration office on the 13th April that informed me that my paperwork had been verified and to come in on the 14th April to get it further extended (no cost).

I went to the immigrtion office and they have extended it until the 26th April.

I had a revised flight by Ethiad for today (17 April) but that has been cancelled as all flight are cancelled until the 1st May.

At this point I assume that I have to return to the immigration office on the 26th April to get it extended further.

I have also read (maybe on here) that foreigners with Coronavirus Extensions (non resident visas) will have to depart from Thailand by the 7th May.

I have informed my travel agent to therefore reschedule my return flight to the UK for the 3,4, or 5th May but no reply from him after 6 days.

I just checked Ethiad flights from Bangkok to London and they appear to all be sold out to the 7th May and the flight costs after that is over 33,000 bt !

    Interesting times ahead !

Dont hold your breath on ethihad, I've had 2 flights canceled already and no refund . My latest flight with them for the 17th may has been canceled too .

I've tried to call them to no avail and they haven't responded to any emails other that computer generated ones which just tell you to call .

Then I decided to book with emerates for the 27th of May  and just received an email 1 week after booking , it also had been canceled. They've sent an attached note stating I just need to call anytime within 24 months to re book another flight at no further cost .

So much for third time lucky .

I bought 2 of them and they attract all sorts of insects but unfortunately the mosquito dont go near them . Next morning after using you will have a steady flow of ants coming to the bbq for breakfast . I find a strong fan works best as the mosquito tend to get <deleted> off trying and go look for easier prey .

  4. Most call centres are closed or overwhelmed with calls and emails so getting through to them is virtually impossible . I've had to buy 2 separate flights from ethihad and had both canceled and only an offer of a voucher to be used within a crazy timeframe . Both options are only available after calling the helpline ...and surprise surprise ! They dont answer any calls or emails . Now I've booked another with Emirates and all I can do is hope this one will actually fly . Originally I was to fly out 1st april , with extra flights paid for and visa costs and the cost to stay longer will be a drain on my pocket ...this is a common story with thousands of people I imagine and the airlines are taking more bookings knowing they may never fly .

  5. Stuck here in cha am with no barbers open , so had to resort to old style DIY for my nipper , took me to bribe him with a bottle of bubbles though 555

  6. Hi I've searched this site and only found answers from 2014 . I'm hoping someone has some recent info in helping me locate a shop or online store that delivers . I'm in cha am / hua hin area .

Any advise appreciated apart from quit smoking .

Ok can someone please enlighten me, I’m in HH right now and I presumed the place was on lock down (not allowed to enter or leave HH).

So does the governors comments mean I’m free to leave HH ? As I need to make an urgent trip to Bangkok, I will then return back to HH.

In cha am area now and noticed a few neighbours relatives coming from bangkok to visit ( 2 cars full) , so I dont see the difference you going to bangkok and returning .

  8. As mentioned above ...Brake fluid or milton fluid for steralizing kids bottles etc . Brake fluid is the stronger of the 2 . Both work 100% . But u need to leave the notes in either fluid until u see the ink disappear.... this could take a few hour to overnight depending on the ink and how heavy the print is written on notes .

An old trick used to clean credit cards for the new signatures .... so I'm told

I just read that UAE have put a travel ban(?) to Thailand for their people.

That would be another hard hit.

I had booked a flight from Dublin to UAE /bkk . I then read UAE are stopping all flights for their citizens to Thailand and Italy.  Now 12 dead in Italy and who knows how many have died in Thailand.

I've reluctantly canceled my flight , personally I'm more worried about picking the virus up along the way and transmitting it to my young son in thailand then having problems getting home again .... more countries will follow suit I think , making travelling virtually impossible .

  10. Looks like the bamboo founds have dropped . Take your wife's advise until they've settled ,then assess .

If structurally sound then plaster the wall with sand and cement remembering to prime the wall before hand .
