A few days later at the daily press conference the UN spokesman said that Israel should ensure all UNWRA convoys are kept safe but they do not allow Israel/IDF to provide any support or security for them because that would make them a target! UNRWA chief @UNLazzarini admits for the first time that "the trucks being brought in by UNRWA could be brought in by anyone else." This is obvious and we have been saying it for months. The UN has been lying by calling UNRWA's humanitarian operation "irreplaceable." UN says nearly 100 Gaza aid trucks looted, the war’s worst theft ‘in terms of volume’ they don't know who the armed people were and did not question them. The same spokesman then confirms that Israel has the responsibility to ensure that the UNRWA convoys and humanitarian aid is safe. However they do not want armed soldiers protecting them...........
