  1. A simple start would be here: A Justice Department study of the assault weapons ban found that it was responsible for a 6.7% decrease in total gun murders, holding all other factors equal. Source: Jeffrey A. Roth & Christopher S. Koper, “Impact Evaluation of the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act of 1994,” (March 1997). https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/assault-weapons-ban-summary
  2. As I said, you brought in the UK, when another poster does the same you object.
  3. Your blind as well. While the first scene is fully auto the following are not. The facts of what they do on impact in the body ie explode are just that facts. The very reason a child's head is literally blown off. So why did the Las Vegas Strip murderer killing 58 and injuring a further 546 not use a bat then? You're just embarrassing yourself now fella. AR-15 exploding inside your body...............
  4. Strawman. Where 's your evidence I claimed that? You may want to actually "view" this vid by the LAPD and see why they kill more people when used especially children
  5. Because its an initial step in reduction. Its quite simple really. That's how change happens. Start with the weapons that cause most damage when used. Get rid of them completely and then address the lax controls in place in many of the US states.
  6. Following hot on the heals of Kirk, comes Matt Gaetz with his stupidity...............(vid in the article) Matt Gaetz claims 'no mass shootings' when automatic weapons and cannons were legal "Your grandparents used to be able to order mail-order automatic weapons, and when the Second Amendment was written, the American people, such as they were, could own cannons. No mass shootings back then," he said. https://www.rawstory.com/matt-gaetz-automatic-weapons/
  7. the numbers don't bear out the assertion that AR-15s and other long guns are a particular problem The facts disagree with you. You're sounding much like the Charlie Kirk "I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights, that is a prudent deal." The parents of those children and their loved ones murdered also disagree with you and Charlie. As for your discrediting of those who call these weapons of war, again read the links I supplied, watch the video in the tweet. Your attempts to sanitize the murder of innocents is lame.
  8. "Except, as has been proven, it is not." Wrong, re read the tweet and its claim and watch the short video "The AR-15 style rifle is the weapon of choice for the nation's deadliest mass shooters" https://medium.com/armedwithreason/its-the-system-stupid-uvalde-buffalo-4c41bcad3410 https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/press/dem/releases/durbin-reads-out-death-tolls-of-deadliest-mass-shootings-in-last-decade-calls-on-colleagues-to-pass-gun-safety-legislation-in-wake-of-nashville-school-shooting
  9. Agree, that change is a long hard road ahead but starting off with the banning of assault weapons is a first step. You're either a loon, a murderer in the making, or just so insecure you want to have something that makes you feel more like a man. These are the facts on what they do to you and to a child's internal organs.

  13. You need to read up on what a conspiracey theory is again: Trump has narcissistic personality disorder, says leading psychoanalyst A leading psychoanalyst and clinical professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine has claimed that president Donald Trump suffers from “narcissistic personality disorder”. Dr John Zinner, the former head of the Unit on Family Therapy Studies at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), made the claim in an interview with Yale forensic psychiatrist Bandy X Lee https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-narcissistic-personality-disorder-mary-trump-john-zinner-bandy-x-lee-a9665856.html
  14. Separate to this particular case but related to Fox and Dominion Fox settles defamation lawsuit from Venezuelan businessman over broadcast tying him to Dominion election claim A Venezuelan business has settled with his defamation lawsuit against Fox News Network and former Fox Business host Lou Dobbs for their coverage of him and voting software companies Dominion and Smartmatic. In a complaint filed in New York federal court, Majed Khalil sued the Fox Corporation, Fox News Network LLC, Lou Dobbs, and attorney Sidney Powell over a Dec. 10, 2020, broadcast and related Twitter posts. Khalil’s legal team alleged that the interview and related social media promotion disseminated a “lie totally devoid of reality,” vilifying him as one of four people who worked with Dominion and Smartmatic to “rig or fix the results” of the election in favor of President Joe Biden. https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/fox-settles-defamation-lawsuit-from-venezuelan-businessman-tying-him-dominion-election-claim/
  15. In other words collateral damage is fine by this loon Kirk. What a sick individual. Here's just a small portion of the cost that he turns a blind eye to: "Accidental gun deaths occur mainly to those under 25 years old. So far in 2022, 209 children (age 0-17) have died by gunshot and an additional 519 were injured. Adolescents are particularly susceptible to accidental shootings due to specific behavioral characteristics associated with adolescence, such as impulsivity, feelings of invincibility, and curiosity about firearms." https://www.aftermath.com/content/accidental-shooting-deaths-statistics/
  16. Interesting article on how these documents first started spreading. From Discord to 4chan: The Improbable Journey of a US Intelligence Leak These documents appeared to be dated to early March, around the time they were first posted online on Discord, a messaging platform popular with gamers. However, Bellingcat has seen evidence that some documents dated to January could have been posted online even earlier, although it is unclear exactly when. Bellingcat also spoke to three members of the Discord community where the images had been posted who claimed that many more documents had been shared across other Discord servers in recent months. https://www.bellingcat.com/news/2023/04/09/from-discord-to-4chan-the-improbable-journey-of-a-us-defence-leak/
  17. Yea I was just about to edit that but seeing as you label a proportion of the population as plebs I doubt it would make much difference. Personally I'm all for the monarchy but those that aren't have just as much say as me in a vote and I see no need to label them.
  18. Latest vote carried out 31st March 47% Favourable 26% Unfavourable 25% Neither 2% Don't know The favourablity has gone down since the Spare book was published but is still +21% net https://www.ipsos.com/en-uk/royal-familys-favourability-rating-drops
  19. Another failed master plan by Putin. Ukraine to export electricity again after months of Russian attacks Ukraine is able to export electricity for the first time in six months as its energy infrastructure recovers from months of repeated Russian attacks. Russia began its lengthy and deliberate assault on Ukraine's energy infrastructure last October. It led to power cuts and scheduled blackouts, leaving towns and cities in darkness during winter. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65220003
  20. Then you of course know that a TS SCI doesn’t mean you hold SCI access for all information and is permitted on a need-to-know basis
  21. The higher up one goes the more privy you become to classified information. I guess that's an aspect you were missing.
  22. Yes you've mentioned your time in Afghanistan a few times already, we get it. It does not however over ride the experience and decisions of those that are actually in charge and have the information needed.
