  1. I had the J&J in New York on a business trip and then recently had the Pfizer here in Bangkok as a first shot not booster as my first JJ was overseas Thai health authorities did not provide a 50% booster or really want to record theJ &J so I opted for the full Pfizer and will have the second shot next month. Its easier to start all over again and have the complete Pfizer shots. Incidentally my J & J vaccine was administered last June so the gap in time between shots was 6 months. Hope this helps.
  2. Anyone know whether the Johnson & Johnson is available in Thailand I need to have a booster I had my vaccination in USA last June
  3. Hello friends, I want to tap into the expertise of fellow ex-pats or locals who have a real understanding of automobiles. So I would like to purchase a new SUV price up to 1.3 million (I would prefer to spend less if I could, lol) I shall be retiring soon (2022) to live in my home in Maha Sarakham. For the last three years, I have had a Ford Everest 4 wheel drive turbo; it is a company vehicle, but to be honest, I have never really used the four-wheel drive. However, I do enjoy the car's height, hence my desire to go for another SUV that gives a good line of sight from being higher up. I am not driven by brand names etc., just practicality and to have a safe vehicle that is comfortable big enough to drive a family ( 5) and enjoy inter-city / country driving. An excellent reliable SUV. Any recommendations or advice will be gratefully received - I seek this help because talking to trade people are s always biased toward their manufacturer or held stock. Thanks in advance for helping me with this decision.
  4. Besides being absolutely insane it brings a whole new meaning to being " left high and dry "

  6. Surely banks have built in intelligence systems that can monitor and flag up repetitive withdrawals from an individual savings account that would immediately be routed to their fraud department ?.
  7. As a happy 69 year old still working in Thailand I enjoy what there is to enjoy and am happy that I made the choice to live here.
  8. Its time to allow younger generations to take their place in this delicate democracy. Knee jerk politics confused with ignorance and tainted by corruption with distorted representation of the people needs to end. More honest and transparent younger people with the ability to lead, need to own the leadership of the country continue to demand equality and have people representation that is not tilted to military factions profertering on the back of the Thai people.
  9. This is an interesting question I think in the longer term go go bars for all sexes will return. It is interesting to note that a number of these types of bars in bangkok and Pattaya are actually owned by the police. So there is a double side to this, it is in the police interest to maintain these bars irrespective of general opinion on the basis that when they are operating well they provide ready cash to their owners.
