  1. Lighten up dude, for sure Pattaya has it share of problems, scammers, scumbags, dope dealers, you name it, but many just might choose to stay for awhile till thing impove, not to worry they will return, so in the mean time if I were there I would relax and enjoy the Calm(peace and quite) :D:):D

  2. Have now returned to two wheels after a few years.

Last machine in UK a VTR Firestorm and did have a ZZR1100 in early 90's.

So a nice little toy to bomb about town in, wearing a cool matching black full face helmet.

Yesterday tried to explain to wife about manual choke/move gears into neutral and clutch operation.

She will stay with her Honda click me thinks!.

From a VTR to a Sonic... OUCH! :)

Nice ride dude, very nice indeed, now a little HINT: Let the wife HANG with the Little Honda Click as long as she is happy is all that really matter. Me I would be done all I could to keep her in love with the Honda Click and away from my RIDE!! NUFF Said :D:D:D:D:D

  3. I will be purchasing a car in the next couple of weeks. I'm just curious what is required for a foreigner to hold title and can title be held by more than one person? I don't know if it matters, but I have a Non-Immigrant O-A Retirement Visa and a Thai Driver's License.

    Thanks in advance.

NO Problem, your Non-O retirement Visa , a Thai Driver's License, Insurance AND CASH(the key here) your car will be in your name.(you will be the title holder) I have heard a few tales over my longer stay in Thailand of some dealers trying to give the farang a song and dance to put the title in a Thai wife name because it was easy paper work for them, this also actually happen to me in 1996 when I bought my first car in Thailand, I had a few choice words(polite) for the Saleman and was on my way to the door with cash in hand, when call to by another saleman, that had over heard the conservation, my guess is he and the owner or the dealership was the only two that knew, they could sell to me(title my name) for cash :):D:D

  4. Take your time Newbie, get to know her and her friends/family this can tell you a hold lot about her, remember thing aren't always what they seem, "Been there Done That" many time, met ladies that seem like they were a gift from heaven, late found them to be a piece of He_l on earth. :D:):D:D trust me I have been there.

  5. Sound great, I'm a non smoker anyway, but this great News for heavy smokers that want to quit. Now do anyone out there that know a drug that is combine with a little excrise and diet that will do like wise with little if any side effect. :):D:D

  6. The Daily News June 27

David Jackson,an Englishman aged 37, told police that on the evening of June 25 he had gone with *******, an American and close friend, aged 49, to a bank in Lad Prao to change foreign currency into Thai baht. The money totalled 950,000 baht in cash. They then went to a food centre in a department store in Lad Prao with the money in a bag.

After eating, David went outside to the car park for a cigarette, leaving the money in the bag on the table with *****. When he returned both **** and the money were missing. Telephone calls to ***** proved fruitless and a visit to his rented room in Khlong Dan resulted in no sightings of ****.

Convinced **** was involved in the loss, David rushed to the police station. He said he had known **** for over 10 years and had never seen any signs of shady or suspicious behaviour exhibited by **** before. He didn't think **** could behave like this.

After recording the complaint, police contacted immigration checkpoints to see if the suspect had already left the country, whilst at the same time they went to the scene of the incident in search of further clues, to both apprehend the suspect and to establish the truth of what happened.

To Darn trusting/Naive/plan old Dumb,, should have use common sense in the first place why not to a bank where you had an account, no need and very very foolish to walk out/and about with cash of that amount. Question? Did all the money belong to David Jackson, or some to the American, something just don't seem quite right here, oh well check Pattaya maybe this American friend will turn up there. :D:D:D:)
