5100 baht for some olives....LOL.
I am having a double garage roof built at the front of my house next week.
I am getting a team of four guys in to dig four holes for the cement corner posts. Prefill the holes with rebar and a concrete plinth, then stand the posts (4.5 meters high) and back fill holes with more concrete. Price: 5,000 baht.
When my workers are on their lunch break I will show them a photo of your olives and tell them how much you paid and post their response back here.
My prediction is that they won't have a clue what you are going on about.

There are some stray garlic pieces missing but I was really only looking for plain, pitted green olives anyway so all good. Big C Extra got in a new supply a month or so ago in a 100 gram bag or maybe a big bigger. I just bought these on impulse.
I have a bottle of green olives but they are much smaller and still pitted so it takes that much longer to put a salad together which is already a time consuming effort. I'll look for the bagged, pitted olives in Big C again when they run out. I just add about a dozen of the smaller olives into a large salad so they last most of the year I think. These are about double the size so I need fewer of them.
How long do you reckon it will take you to get through those olives?

OP it might be wise to make the distinction between Guinness draught (canned or bottled) and Foreign Extra. I think the latter is the more prevalent sadly

Maybe the Germans can go to Paris instead? Lovely this time of year.
Seriously though, if you are put off travelling to a country because you have to show your passport to gain entry, you should probably stay at home. Presumably they are put off every country outside the EU? Or is this just another Brexit bashing article by The Guardian?
Finally we are in agreeement

Brits in Thailand are a mixed bag, almost like any other nationality in Thailand, you'll get plenty of bad or good eggs. I seem to recall some of the most serious recent crimes have been committed by Aussie bikers.

Probably because a lot of Brits go to Thailand pal. If you looked at the ratios of tourists being dicks in Bali I'm sure Aussies would come top.

Surprised. Rarely see anyone ride around Bangkok without a helmet. Unless it was a quiet area.

I am trying to do this, but can't see the 'table of contents' option under the 'Insert' menu.
When I've Googled it, it says I must have headings formatted within the document to choose the 'table of contents' option, which I do. But I still can't see the option to insert 'table of contents'.
Can anyone help?

Do you take viagra or similar medicine, even if occasionally?
If you do this is likely the reason behind your GERD/gastritis.
Nope

Drink much coffee?
I ask because lifestyle changes can help control GERD:
- minimize caffeine intake
- avoid lying down or bending over for 2 hours after eating
- eat smsmaller amounts at a time
I think it's probably spicy food and beer if anything
And yes I have a bad habit of eating dinner late then going to bed not long after

Age & last full check up ?
Might want to add 'cardiac' check up next time, sooner than later.
I always explained it off as something else, until it wasn't. Requiring a bit of intervention by cardiac surgeon.
A few simple tests for peace of mind, and a better, inexpensive options, if needed, than putting it off to find out your diagnosis was a bit off.

Was just stomach acid I think. Omeprazole sorted it out.

I know that in Touristy areas 7/11's will be selling beer ,, but I'll be in rural areas next to the Malaysia borders and staying in Thai resorts or lodgings but I will be in the Pak Bara area when starting to head back to my home ????
I wouldn't read too much into being near Malaysia. After all, alcohol is readily available in Malaysia.

Per the above post, my estimate of a 60K crowd is wrong. 70K + will be on; Bolton have sold 33K, Argyle 37. Still a week to go.
The Papa Johns Trophy final is on Sunday 2nd April and Sky will be broadcasting the game live. Two decent League 1 teams who both play proper football should give viewers a good spectacle.
Very impressive numbers I've got to say. More surprised that Plymouth are taking that many tbh
