Been riding up and down Thailand on my dirt bike for 5 years now. It's my life. I've never, in all that time been pulled over, however I do wear a helmet. Went through plenty of army/police checkpoints and usually waved through with a smile. Been asked exactly once to produce a licence. I have a Thai licence. The police have always been professional and courteous. Perhaps I've just been lucky.

Hi Ombra. Again, thankd for referencing the photo shop which you used. I plan on going there on my moto this week. To that end, I was wondering if you have the name or telephone number of the studio. I live in Chon Buri so it's a long drive and was hoping to contact the studio, just to make sure they are still in business and will be open on the day. Cheers, Randall.

You are quite correct. However the passport application has detailed requirements, over and above what you have referenced, section N. Therein you will find the words I quoted. BTW, before retiring I worked as a Civil Aviation Safety Inspector. I was an aviation maintenance cop. The number one complaint from industry was imprecise, vaguely worded pronouncements in the Canadian Regulations. Same, same with the passport department. Cheers

Actually, it's required that everyone submit actual photos, that have the photo studio name, guarantors original signature, etc. on the back, so it's crystal clear they won't accept a thumb drive etc.. They are referring to digital vs film format.

I need a new Canadian Passport. Reading through the photo requirements, they claim to not accept "electronic photos" which I assume means digital photos. Ugggg. Does anybody know of a studio somewhere around Pattaya or Bkk that still has one of those film cameras that has 4 lenses?

Going to do 90 day report by mail for the first time. It's due on Dec 18. I'm unsure as to when it needs to arrive @ Sri Racha I.O. to be accepted. And, I've seen varrying lists of what paperwork must accompany the tm47 form? Can anyone help this old codger please?

Thanks for your suggestion. It was a good one but. The screen that you referenced came up on my very first attempt but it doesn't come up now. So,,,, I deleted the app and then re-loaded it from the play store. That one screen still didn't come up. By the way, I had the app working just fine on my old phone but just got a new phone and no joy.

Trying to load Morchana onto my phone. It's asking for "Thailand Pass ID" Don't know what that is. Tried number from TM6 arrival card but it doesn't accept it. Been here in Thailand for 5 uninterrupted years. Ugggg. HELP PLEASE!!

Went for an unintended swim on the weekend. Lost cell phone but worse, passport stamps are unreadable. So, off to Cdn Embassy for a new one. Can someone sketch out the procedure to get visa etc. transferred to new PP. A heartfelt thank you in advance.

Need advice please. My 90 report is due 17/08/21. I normally report to the Sri Racha Immigration office, Chon Buri. I've been trying to do the report online from Rayong which is where I am now without success and I believe I've left it too late to do it by mail. Ugggg! My question is, will I be able to ride my motorcycle from Rayong province back into Chon Buri province for the purpose of doing my 90 day report? I.O.W. will the police let me through with that as my reason to travel? Should I approach immigration in Rayong? I live in Phan Thong, Chon Buri province if that makes a difference.

My cellphone plan provider is AIS. I'm attempting to figure out how to make a collect or reverse charge call to Canada. I've asked at many of their stores and have not rec'd instructions that worked. Can anyone help? Please? Pretty please???
