    The governments [plural] have failed to solve the problem... The public deserve solutions not guidelines. Redirect the military budget, we don't need submarines of F-35's.. use that money for real infrastructures instead. nuff said.

    So what will building flood walls achieve? As well as keeping water out from the rivers it keeps water in on the inside of the city. Bangkoks real issues are underground drainage and water table levels. Until those are properly addressed there will be no change.

    Enter Thailand on a tourist visa. Make sure you have the required funds in a Thai bank or monthly income required in place and go for a conversion to Retirement visa prior to the expiry of the tourist visa. Get all the documents needed and go yourself.. visa cost 1,900 baht no need for an expensive dodgy visa via an agent.

    If not manufactured inside Thailand I wonder how all these "fake" items manage to evade customs?

    Big brother China is hoarding rice, I'm sure they'll sell some back at a reasonable profit if Thailand starves.

    Banning vaping and banning E-cigarettes while very very very slowly increasing the tax on cigarettes.. yeah they got the health of the public at heart.
