So why are most of the cheap Chinese/Asian products available in every market, shop, stall and supermarket? Because Thailand doesn't make them themselves. Get rid of the cheap options and the markets/traders would be out of work.

I came to Thailand in 2008, I could see the writing on the wall then... an Island nation that couldn't or wouldn't stop the illegal immigration.. I made the right decision.
