Thailand can and does.. almost daily.- Thailand aims to be global hub for skilled foreign workers
Attracting skilled migrant workers from neighboring countries because Thailands education programme is failing the country and cannot attract foreign businesses to invest in new production facilites due to a lack of appropriate skill sets. Soon all Thais will either be in the tourism business, drug smuggling, Youtubers or influencers, while foreign skilled labour will take over all commercial production.- Thailand to tax residents’ foreign income irrespective of remittance

That is Thailands only option, it lives in the dark ages but wants to be a player in the new age.. it's scared of educating the minions as they will ask too many questions, and demand answers, so they indoctrinate them and dumb them down. Education is only for the elites to continue the dynasties, and ruling monopolies. However keeping the workers dumb is now coming back to haunt them, as they are now not capable of performing new age production methods, so Thailand has to import skilled labour from bordering countries who are now overtaking Thailand. The last 30 years Thailand has destroyed itself in the S.E.Asian area. - Milli's positive experience with ID card stirs up discussions on social media
