Mr. Simon explained the group went diving and fishing off Koh Maravichai, leaving their anchored boat unattended. In their absence, the boat came loose from its anchor and drifted away. Unable to locate the boat upon resurfacing, the men spent a night on the island until rescue services arrived.
Dumb, dumb, dumb and dummer.

If it were children hugging or kissing the monk in exchange for small amounts of money, it might not be considered serious, as such actions occur in several temples. However, if the reality is beyond this, it would be unacceptable. An investigation into any complaints would likely clarify the situation

The International Union of Sex Workers (IUSW) has revealed that Thailand is home to 250,000 sex workers, one of the highest numbers worldwide. Despite this, the profession remains illegal in the country and workers are lacking basic employment rights.
Thanks to decades of inept government leaders who provide little career opportunities for their population...

Due to decreased capacity in the primary reservoirs - Bang Wad, Klong Kata, and Bang Neow Dum, hotels are reporting increased expenses as they are forced to buy water. Local and national government has yet to establish a lasting solution to this perennial issue.
Cap tourism until the governor increases the infrastructure.

They have a no fail system in Thailand. If the student fails the score is rounded up to a pass.
It couldn't possibly get any easier for the students.
My neighbour has an 11-year old daughter, they asked me if I could help her with an English exercise she didn't understand.
She came with her class-book which is mainly Thai but within it is a section on English language.
The questions are followed by 4-multi-choice answers, one being the correct answer.
After helping her to understand the question and delete wrong answers I said the remaining choice should be correct.
She said okay, lets check... scrolled to a section later in the book it contained answers to all the questions in the entire book, including the English section?

With this intense heat and the worst air quality I've seen in the past 15 years, there are going to be many who will be rejoicing over storms wind and rain, which should clean things up very nicely, at least for the time being.
Bring it on!

The Deputy Permanent Secretary for Public Health, Dr Kittisak Aksornwong, confirmed the outbreak. Between April 19 and 28, 3,442 inmates out of the total 4,427 contracted the Type-A influenza strain. However, all inmates tested negative for Covid-19.
I wish they all get the treatment they deserve and a full and swift recovery is achieved, just like someone else we know.

During the probe, Aswarin, also referred to as Rin, stated she acted alone in reaction to rumors suggesting that the teenager had shown interest in Rin's ex-partner. In the lead up to the assault, Rin confirmed that she had drunk five bottles of beer and was prompted by a friend to confront the 15-year-old girl. Rin revealed she had been waiting for the teenager and then attacked her using her Muay Thai skills, leaving the girl unconscious.
