Thailand needs workers, especially cheap labour. Thais want to go overseas so they can pay off family debts, Myanmarese want to cross the border to escape a military conflict... welcome them with open arms, bless their children and give them citizen ship, boosting your population decline.

I can guess what the 8,352 baht was used for but where did the other 490,000 go ? Rhetorical

Of course it's about money, Thailands broke and only tourism is keeping it afloat.. Not sure how 21 days is going to play out, surely Thais will be working ? Or will it be teams of tourists against the unemployed, drug runners and Youtubers ?

Whilst I agree Thailand was in better hands with Thaksin than the military I don't see that going back to the old ways is going to help Thailand. They really do need some fresh ideas and move forward... hint intended
