  1. I traveled from my neck of the woods to Rai Khing the other day on a local bus.. 22 kilometres for 25 baht.. The bus I think was registered the same year as I was born, and looks like it's done the same mileage. A real old diesel burner with rickety old bench seats, and roof fans that long since stopped working. The driver was in his autumnal years but at least he was steady, an average 50 mph and double de-clutching every gear as he manage the 3ft long gear stick... impressive.
  2. I work all night, I work all day to pay the bills I have to pay Ain't it sad? And still there never seems to be a single penny left for me That's too bad In my dreams I have a plan If I got me a wealthy man I wouldn't have to work at all, I'd fool around and have a ball Money, money, money Must be funny In the rich man's world Money, money, money Always sunny In the rich man's world

  4. I buy mine direct from a family fun slaughter house near me... buy a half or quarter carcass for a great price. Watch the l pigs come in one door, go through the process and in the boot of my car half an hour later.
  5. Are sellers like Lazada and Co on the hit list?
  6. The OP photo seems a little out of sync with the post? The post is about donating blood and the photo looks like someone receiving a Covid injection. Did they not have a a better photo in the album?
  7. The problem is educating people about finances. I want, I want, I want is all I hear now. Instead of, what can I afford.
  8. And next year when electricity prices rise again the extra will be passed onto the customer.. beer up again.
  9. I wonder if the banks have enough money to fund this promise? I can understand many debtors wanting to take out a favourable loan to get the sharks off their back... but did the banks know the depth of the problem?
  10. More rises next year, what a huge surprise.
  11. Some dubious figures... are these real stats or just fiction?
  12. If they were already suspects why weren't they dealt with in the normal fashion on a daily basis. [rhetorical]
  13. No I don't think so... I just quoted the correction in the post... I don't think she was robbed, certainly not 240,000 baht. If she had that much money in gold she most likely would have been back in Myanmar living well.
  14. It does what you want, even cleanses your wallet.
  15. I know where I came from, and I've been trying to get back there all my life.
