Told the missus next time she's at the mall to buy a new player, when the old one drives me nuts we can swap it over. She came home with a new AJ-889 HDMI model, recommended by the Big C store in town. This week the old one finally gave up so I swapped them over... Bad news, the new model is regionally locked... We have quite a few good old DVD's from UK which this unit will not play. She went back to Big C but they say we're outside the 7 day return date, no can do. Is there any way of unlocking the player to become multi-regional.
