  1. "Hack" is an abbreviation for "hackers" The use of the word for journalists, it means taking a long story and shortening it. ie: "hacking" it to pieces. A "Hack" can also be a term for a small horse.. The general term is to hack something and make it smaller.
  2. I think the general consensus is the next parliament will be the MFP with the coalition as set-up. The majority of the people want change, industry need change and the tourism industry will be happy for a quiet handover. Only the die-hards are still trying to put a spanner in the works and remain in the dark ages. Prayuts packing, Anutin has said he's not interested and Prawit... well I think just watching the time go by. Pita is doing what he said he would do... Move Forward.
  3. Yep, you could read a lot into those stats.... what condition the country is really in and the state of the society as a whole.
  4. Agreed, like wise... stick it out for now and see what happens in the future. As for the Thais they're great people, I live in a very non-tourist area and they have greeted me very well.
  5. Touch my car I slappa ya face.... carve the Coliseum I kicka ya out.
  6. If Thailand wasn't so much of a paradise destination they wouldn't want to remain. Maybe they should triple prices at national parks, have taxi's rip them off at very opportunity, have them report everywhere they stay, make immigration a nightmare, pollute the beaches, have inland look like a rubbish tip, smog in the north, rubbish street food maybe they would leave on time.
  7. The same as she did with all the other lives she took....
  8. So this twisted person has changed "reform" to "overthrow"?
  9. That's the thing.... Money every year for the coffers and employment for thousands of immigration officers. It will never change.
  10. Not automatically. She will have to apply for an entry visa to UK departing from Thailand After a period of time she will gain residency permission in UK attached to her Thai passport. After that she can go through the procedures to gain UK citizenship. Then she can see what is available to her. ie UK Passport.
  11. 15 days before online.... 7 days after only in person at the IO
  12. Similar, two weeks ago Moderna jab, free... mind you I am an ex-pat.
  13. As you say, there are a lot of other thing out there that do a lot more harm, especially to growing kids. Education done correctly can stop kids getting onto the "wrong" path of using needless drugs just for fun. Rehab places to help those who have gone too far with the use of drugs is a way of keeping society safer. The other of course is tackle the mafia behind the financial side of it.
  14. Another type of grooming... gently gently catchy monkey.
  15. Some things never change... We want your money but we don't want you.. Today for the twentieth time I'm going to immigration with a mountain of paperwork to extend my annual visa. Make it easier for us to reside here and maybe the property sales will follow suit. As a guest I'll continue to rent.
