  1. That is for entry. What about departure for unvaccinated people? If I visit a country where they don't need me to show vaccination passport or negative Covid test, do I need to show a negative ATK test at Don Mueang Airport in order to fly? I'm unvaccinated. I did all searches and still can't find the answer. Thanks for all replies.

  2. Thank you very much, Doctor Tom. I already read that link 2 days ago. It's for travelers entering Malaysia so it's pretty much the same as entering any country where they still require something. My case is I fly out of Thailand to a country where they don't check anymore. I want to avoid the case that I show up at Don Mueang Airport and they say I need to have an ATK negative test result in order to fly. If they don't need that, I don't need to test. Having that inserted into my nose is very painful so if they don't need anymore, I don't have to do.

  3. I have read that in Vietnam they no longer check for Covid vaccination certificate and no Covid test, so I will visit for a month. I have searched AOT website, Thai Embassy website, TAT News, Air Asia website & app, Don Mueang Airport website, ASEAN NOW forums and google but they all say about requirements for entering Thailand. So, do I need to do the ATK test in order to fly out of Thailand at Don Mueang Airport?

Another question is: my husband is vaccinated. If Don Mueang Airport requires vacccination proof in order to fly, will he just show the paper certificate from the hospital or will he need to have it on the MorProm app?

Thanks in advance for all replies.

  4. Thanks for posting this good news. I applied just now. Received the password immediately. I completed the form, saw a PDF file and I downloaded. Did in the laptop with Windows 10.

Edit: I received a receipt a few minutes later "We have received your information successfully, you can find your information below."

Phuket local site for online TM-30 address registration was closed.
    http://www.phuketimmigration.go.th/notify/
This site was build because BKK head quarter site has been down for so long. But now BKK site came back. Phuket site was closed and we have to use BKK site.
    https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn24online/

By the way, if you are to get ID of BKK head quarter site, you will go into get  ID page, fill up and click save icon.
If your data is all right, message “ID and initial password will be sent to you by e-mail” in Thai language will pop up. If your data is not all right, error message in Thai language will pop up.
I am not so sure of the situation. But there is a possibility that you are using pop up blocker. Please check.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I'll check.

You have to get a username and password from immigration to use the site after you do that online registration page. It is primarily for businesses to do the reporting. Info for the registration is here. https://www.immigration.go.th/content/การแจ้งที่พักคนต่างด้าว

Some local offices will register you as an individual if you request it from them.

Surat Thani and Phuket immigration have their own sites for individuals to register and do the reports.

    Thanks a lot.

Yes since July of last year.

Thanks ubonjoe. Do we need to phone them to get user name and password? I tried filling in the form with my Thai husband's details to register. After clicking save, the form disappeared and it brought me to the main page where I need to fill in user name and password. I don't know what happened. Please help. Thank you.

Not all offices will accept the TM30 by registered mail. You would have to contact your local office to find out if they will allow it and how.

The online reporting site is down at this time (same problem as 90 day reporting online). Some offices will allow an individual to register for it but it is primarily for hotels and etc to report their guests. It requires registration to get access to the site when working.

Is the online reporting site up now for TM30? Thanks.

  9. Thanks all for replying to my question. As far as I know, if I hit someone which is a serious case, I'm fined with 500 Baht. Just wondering why forgetting to report might give me a 2000 Baht fine (or even more) when it's not causing any damage or crisis. I'm here with a Thai husband in the same house since the beginning for more than 10 years now. I can't see any danger for not reporting within the 97-day time frame as once a year, I confirm my address in the khor yoo tor TM7 form and I often go out of Thailand a few times a year. Why they make it a serious case is beyond me.

I've left on day 91 or 92 a number of times. I never had a problem. I'm not saying it can't be a problem, just that it wasn't. I always made sure the report form is removed from my passport.

They say the person who stamps your passport when you leave Thailand will not fine you but the people at your local Immigration Office (where you often report) might do.

Xiao, This thread should be useful. And to note, that the process doesn't necessarily take several years, although it is mostly a waiting game. It can be shorter; my own application took about 18 months from start to ID card.

Looks like it costs only 5,000 Baht to have the Thai citizenship for a foreign wife married to a Thai husband. Thanks for your link.

If you obtain an extension of stay based on marriage from your local Immigration office, you can do your 90 day reports at that Immigration office. You do not have to leave Thailand. (1,900 BHT).

If you get a Non Imm O ME Visa from a Thai Embassy/Consulate, then indeed you do need to leave and re-enter every 90 days, but the question then would be why you don't apply for the extension at your local Immigration office.

I'm confused from your posts which one you hold.

I have an extension of stay for another year which costs me 1,900 Baht.

I don't have to leave Thailand every 90 days. I do the 90 day report.

If I go out of Thailand, I must get a Re- Entry permit for 1,000 Baht for single or 3,800 Baht for multiple permission.

If I could have the Thai citizenship, I don't have to do those things. Thanks for your concern.

You should apply for Thai citizenship if your home country allows - normally this is much easier for a female married to a Thai to obtain.  As for using non immigration visa you should be obtaining yearly extensions of stay from immigration rather than using visas.  Are you sure that is not what you have?

I must apply for my extension of stay yearly. I'm tired of it and the Re-Entry everytime I leave Thailand. I'm thinking of applying for Thai citizenship. Will search the forum as I don't know anything about it.

    Thanks everybody for your replies.
