bkk & pattaya , why the stupid reply ?

are you saying there would be no needles, rats/rat s**t.human s**t in these bins ?   look in your hotel everywhere it states to clean your ass and throw the paper into plastic bag so therefore these bin lorries full of s**t !    and i watch some of these guys do not wear gloves and surely they fall sick with diseases often ?

    To enlighten you..

Your supposed to spray your ass with water to clean it then dry off with paper.

I dread to think what your bathroom bin is like.

As per the original post, 56,000 butts in 43 days, 1,300 butts per day.

It is odd, I walk along that beach  couple of times a week and have never seen more than a few cig butts on the beach or footpath, Have never seen anyone counting cig butts, picking up cig butts.

I have said 100 million times, dont exagerate.

At 1300 butts a day found and maybe only 1% all butts that are actually there , that makes it 130,000 butts per day.

Some porkies being told by someone..

Chickenslegs.. Thank you for reply.. So they do have the power to remove licence until fine is paid...!! It is so hard for a westerner to understand that a licence can be removed for such a menial infringement. No receipt was given and I will have to drive on my Thai licence just to make sure Insurance is covered while we drive to Police station to pay the fine. Sometimes you just bang your head against the wall...!

The licence is being held not withdrawn. Pay the fine and repair the light and licence is returned.

    Normal practice.

If she wouldn't have had her licence with her they would have kept her ID card. If she had neither they would keep hold of the car keys.

And most times you do not get the proper plate within 30 days. It is stupid to have to get temporary plates when the car showroom could make then while you wait.

Not stupid at all. The dealers nor anyone else can make plates.

The only plates on any vehicle are issued by the government and are embossed with a governent stamp. Any other plate you get made is illegal.

  5. All depends where you live.

If in Pattaya just go to immigration at Jomtien and tell them you wish to extend your current visa for another year but you will be unable to do so in the last 30 days of your current extension due to surgery.

    I'm sure they will oblige.

I extended mine 73 days in advance there after explaining that I was going on a extended holiday and got re entry permit  at the same time.

  6. Several months ago I tried to pay my electric bill at 7-11 a few hours after it was read. They scanned it and I was told to come back the following day as it wasn't in the system.

The same if you try and pay at 7-11 after the due by date. They won't accept it. You need go and pay directly at the electric company.

Don't know what you are paying per M3 for your water, but I had a broken pipe that used over 600,000 units and the bill was only 3000 Baht - let me just say, it was pretty obvious that there was a leak as the land was flooded in a large area - however, if your pipes are 4m below the surface it could well go unnoticed.

if it is a leak, just go and take a quick look at your water meter - the needle will be spinning like an aeroplane propeller.

600,000 units utter rubbish and impossible for 3000 baht.

Your bill would have been millions of Baht.
