Kamala Harris Defends Policy Stance in Heated Fox News Interview
dinsdale replied to Social Media's topic in World News
A definite beer and popcorn night with laughs enjoyed by all I'm sure. Probably had bets going on how many questions she would answer. Zero was at even odds. I watched it because I wanted to see Harris display her excellent interviewee talents. I wasn't disappointed. I also counted how many questions she answered. Zero. Even if the odds were a hundred to one for her to answer a single question I wouldn't have risked my money. -

I don't think you understand that this quote you have given is not a positive for Harris. It states what many us have been posting. She went after Trump and was looking for soundbites/shorts. The old attack the man and not the ball. Didn't work. I challenge you to find a quote that says she answered questions and detailed her policies. -

How couldn't she or her advisors? They must have which makes me think, as I said, the game plan was to avoid all questions and attack Trump. This takes the focus off both the past and the future in regards to their policies. IMHO if this was the case then it's a very ill-conceived plan by people who don't know what they're doing. Idiots advising an idiot. -

An easy question to answer indeed but that's not what she was told to do. Her instructions were to evade every question and attack Trump at every opportunity. On Fox. Incredible. No votes would have moved from the Republican's to the Democrats that's for sure but the question is how many swing voters who watched that were lost to the Republicans. IMHO the losses would outweigh the gains. Substantially. -

I'm sorry but you have got no idea. If you think giving an answer to a question to which the answer requires a number (i.e. How many?) and not giving an answer with a number in it is answering said question then your deluded. There are seven bananas. Q: How many bananas are there? A; There are seven bananas. How Harris answers: There are three apples Q: How many apples are there? A: Well I see a future where everyone will have apples. Q: How will you deal with inflation? A: Well I was brought up in a middle class .................................................. Q: How many illegal immigrants have crossed the border since you've been the VP? A: Well yes the border is a problem but Trump .................. -

If I was voting in the US Presidential Election my thoughts thoughts on this in no particular order would be: Is illegal immigration a very big problem? Is life expensive? Is crime out of control (I'm thinking NY and LA with this one but could be anywhere)? Is DEI a good thing? Is the woke agenda a good thing? Should female sports only be for females (by this I mean a person that can have a baby)? Is the minority woke agenda being forced onto society? Is censorship a problem? Has my freedom of speech been reduced? Is the world going to sht? Should I have another beer and another bong? Well the answer for me to the last one is easy and yes there are plenty of other issues -

What you seem to dismiss is you can make as many points as you like but not answer the question. It's a very simple concept. You either answer the question or you don't. We all know how it goes. We've all seen politicians not answer direct questions with diversions. It staggers me that you think Harris actually answered the direct questions put to her. Guess that's why you think she should be the President of the United States. Like minds i.e. empty. -

Asking about when you noticed something (Biden's cognitive decline) means time should be in the answer. When you're asked to provide a number ( how many immigrants....) a number should be in the answer. These are not loaded questions. They are straightforward questions that can be answered with straightforward answers. No deflections or non-answers just simple straight forward answers. If you don't know the answer or don't want to say the answer then you deflect and give a non-answer. This is exactly what Harris does. 'How would you tackle inflation?" Straightforward question. "I was born in a middleclass........" Pure deflection. A non-answer. -
iCon Fraud Unveiled: Lessons in Greed and Hard Truths

Pyramid scheme not a Ponzi scheme. A Ponzi scheme is a type of financial fraud in which the "success" of the entity is propped up by paying returns to initial investors from the money invested by subsequent investors. A pyramid scheme is a fraud that involves the continuous recruiting of investors by previous investors so that they get paid through new membership charges rather than actually selling a product or service. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/09/ponzi-vs-pyramid.asp -

Yes you are correct about the 60 minute interview. I was just thinking about that timeline. Trump's camp said no firm commitment was made but I don't believe that. Seems like the October thing is a tradition. -

He didn't back out of a 2nd debate with Harris. Check your knowledge of terms. To back out of something means you have already agreed to do something. No such 2nd debate was agreed upon. As for 60 minutes he declined the interview. Maybe for some reason he doesn't trust CBS after their editing of Harris' nonsensical answer on Iran. -

Politically there's no need for 60 minutes for Trump. He's done enough interviews and the Dems are in trouble. I'm sure this is what his advisers would be saying. -

They'd have a better chance if they brought Biden back and dumped the dummy. As it is neither are in charge and neither have a clue what their doing. -

This is complete and utter rubbish. If you disagree you can go to the YT video of the interview, open the transcript and copy and paste the answers. I will be interested to see her answers. By the way your point 3 proves the point of a non answer. A deflection. A politicians answer. She was asked about when she first became aware of Biden's cognitive decline, NOT about his record. Point six she was specifically asked to supply a number. Please copy and paste the number she gave from the transcript. Good luck. -
