  1. Not sure that there is a hard and fast rule for the colours, I think that while they may be loosely based on a system they are supplier dependent so not a true identifier

You may be best trying to speak to the stockholders......

  2. As I have said you don't know how these things work. Any problem with a tyre overheating/pressure. ANYTHING and you get an audible warning so you wouldn't get things like a blow out.
Provided you have the temp part installed, not all are a combined system and most blow outs are caused purely from low pressure which creates the heat to destroy the tyre

Seemingly a not needed add on to the system

Even direct systems being more accurate than indirect are not as accurate as 1lb by the way.....

  3. Currently the EU is countering undemocratic tendencies of the current government. That's fact, not opinion. Check what they have done and tell me if you would like the same to happen in UK.

Moreover, I know you are obsessed with Brexit but where did you read in the OP that a large share of Poles are attracted by the idea of exiting the EU?
Is the UK government not doing this by wriggling out of a majority vote from 3 years ago?.....

  4.
Thats not a concern then... only an idiot would try to start and in-gear bike without the clutch fully engaged.

I’m more interested in the validity of the concerns regarding potentially compromising mechanical integrity when turning the engine off at the lights, leaving the bike in gear & restarting (clutch fully engaged) when the lights switch to green.
There are plenty of idiots out there

There is no mechanical reason to cause any damage what so ever....

  5. Clutch fully depressed... does it even matter if it’s in gear or not?

Could easily put it in neutral if so, it’s just a quicker start up & take off procedure when everyone else is already trying to jump the lights...
Those milliseconds make all the difference 5555

It's just not good practice to leave any vehicle in gear when turning off or starting. It just means you may not be in 100% control and the vehicle could lurch if you're not holding the clutch in when you start it

Never heard of any engine or gearbox damage through the practice to be honest....

  6.
I wondered the same thing as to their website's use of the terms "permanent resident" and "permanent residency" -- both being excluded.

Do they mean "permanent residency" in the official government sense of things, which comparatively few farangs in Thailand have?

Or, do they just mean people who live in Thailand more or less year-round, and distinguishing that group from the come and go tourist types?

Obviously, the difference is, everyone here who's on a retirement extension or marriage extension of stay are NOT permanent residents in the official government definition of things. Which would potentially open up coverage to a much larger group than just traditional tourists....

However, I can't find anything on the website that tells me which definition of PR they're meaning....

Have a feeling you may be the closest to the mark with your post, time will tell as like you say very, very few are PR in the true writing

The majority of long stays are here on visa's of one sort or another.....

  7. I agree that your post addresses a general and quite relevant concern. However, this thread is about Poland, and more precisely, about the opposition relying on the fear that the current government may want to leave the EU.
    Not fear, it's fact

The five party coalition made up recently is a direct response to the current monopoly wanting to leave the EU

Right or wrong this nation will get an answer soon enough, they will have some difficult times ahead I am sure

Personally I think the EU is done for in the longterm, should the vote go against the EU in Poland (which is by no means unimaginable) it will no doubt have severe repercussions for the other members......

  8. Obviously, you don't know Poland. They have suffered from a communist regime and the EU is for them a guarantee of democracy. Wich, by the way, is exactly the role currently played by the EU against the current proto-fascist government. Most of all, they have been dominated by Russia, so they hate and fear Russia. They may be nationalist, which is well explained by their history, but they will never leave the safeguard of the EU, against various hegemonic pressures from Russia.
Obviously you can't interpret my post which has no reflection of the Polish, or indeed of Poland......

  9. I am surprised that everyone in this thread is just rattling on whilst completely oblivious to the reality that has already been stated.

If you don’t know the reality of this case then you are quite out of touch with the goings on in Thailand.

I find it astonishing that people on this forum would really think that the high up Thais that give this kind of call give a flying truck about visa rules or how much money someone has in the bank or the trivial amounts of money generated by immigration bribes.

It is sad that so many of these self claimed Thai experts here are so completely out of touch with reality.

Hardly trivial when you look at the income related to tour operators and associated operating licences, all of which have been under scrutiny recently

Yes trivial for the relationship to the outspoken western expat that feels Thailand revolves around them and their input to the economy

Also nobody mentions the Saudi angle, which may or may not have had any impact....

  10. Ok, right now all we have is one Thai article saying he "abused Royal privilege" with no explanation of the "abuse" so, at this point we really don't know anything concrete.  But rest assured, the full story WILL come out, as he is way too high profile to just sweep it under the rug. I'll wait for that before I seriously comment.
Too high profile to be swept under the rug??

There could be a dose of reality heading out your way 55555

Have you not been reading any of the news here in the last few years? Do you really believe this will be any different to any other

The story will be forgotten within 6 weeks or less.......

  11. So each time it stopped you filled up with fuel, bled the filter and engine ran?

If that was all you did each time then it probably is just fuel starvation from low tank level

Do you not know how many miles you are getting between each fill up? Try just keeping the tank above half full for a month and see if it stops again

If it doesn't stop then it's the gauge....
