So nothing to do with the possibility that he might not have had any driving tuition whatsoever, as they are compelled to do in normal countries ?

So far, to date, 287,293 people have died from Covid-19 throughout the world.
I take it that none of these 287,293 had ever worn one of your beloved face masks, and if they all had, there would have been no deaths whatsoever from the pandemic ?
Get real Yinn !

I hope, for their sake, it's better organised than the 5,000 baht debacle.

27 million unemployed, many of whom don't have enough money to put food on the tables for their families, the debacle of the alleged government 5,000 baht handouts, then closing a whole industry down for yet another month, keeping millions still unemployed, and, in so doing, depriving people of a way to relax at home. Can they honestly say they are surprised.
I do think that, had the disbanded party been in power, they would have handled things much better, with more empathy and sympathy for the people of their country.

"Thai Chamber of Commerce president Kalin Sarasin said, in a briefing today, that food shops in malls are not yet allowed to reopen, adding that stalls selling food or other items in markets or on walking streets must observe social distancing."
Instead of the unfunny sitcoms on Thai television every night, which are watched by a lot of Thai people, how about showing a simple documentary, explaining exactly what social distancing is, with some basic, visual examples ? From my experiences here since the virus emerged, a lot of Thais either do not understand it, or fail to observe it, especially in things like markets, which you propose to (re)open !

You had better tell Prayuth.
He obviously thinks the best protection is to deprive the whole country of any alcohol consumption !

15 minutes ago, webfact said:However, provincial governor's have the autonomy to decide for themselves what is best for their province.
I think you will find this is a load of tosh.
The governors get their position because they are expected to adhere to decisions made by the government. Every province will ban the alcohol sales this month, and the ones, like above, who specify the 15th, will extend it to the end of the month as it gets nearer. That is what Mr P and his cronies have decided on, it is called control and power.
Any governor who would try to go against the government's decisions, will be moved or dismissed, with no questions asked.

Unfortunately, the further down the wealth scale, the harder any recession hits anyone.
And it will not just be tuk tuk drivers and street vendors in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Pattaya who find themselves jobless, there will be millions of other civilians around the country out of work, and every province will feel it.

Boris says wear a mask.
in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Posted
From a UK paper:
The PM’s official spokesman said: “It is advice. So we’re publishing that today and it’s for the public to judge whether or not this is something they want to follow.
“It’s not something that is part of the regulations - you won’t be fined for not wearing a face mask.”
If that is TELLING people to wear a mask, as opposed to advising so, your English is better than mine, and I had a good education !
