  1. Then why did you bother writing about it in the first place. I was riding a bike when I was six. I was into dirt biking at the age of 12 and I got my first Harley at 27. So in your face. If you think biking in Thailand is glorious then we haven't seen the same potholes nor have we encountered the same drivers. You must have some Homer Simpson 'Duff Beer' goggles on if you think motorcycling is nice here. I rather drive in my BMW, or my pick up than on my motorcycle... and yes I still have one.
  2. The rate I get from my home country bank to a Bangkok bank here is what Krungsri advertises.
  3. Looks like some are in need of attention. It is ok for them to grow poppies and make hashish in their culture but if the infidels enjoy a doobie then it is wrong.
  4. Why bring this to Trump? When I quoted the op I was thinking of elections in general... African elections, Thai elections etc... Personally I hate the way politics are played and I dislike politicians. Both Biden and Trump suck and the aggression I saw on the news over the last few years makes me want to throw up.
  5. Good for you. A guy I know had his car crashed into in front of my house by a motorcycle. He was parked... he ended up paying the guy. Guess it was your lucky day
  6. Funny, the only rate from a bank or exchange business that has any quotes that realistically resemble the exchange rate I have ever gotten is the Krungsri Bank and right now their rates are at least 1 bht below this advertised rate. For me, this means that I lose at least 10 000bht every time I make a transfer.
  7. Really? I am wondering what country you are in, let alone what planet. ????????????
  8. I want to live on Uranus His->anus? Really?
  9. I wouldn't. If you have nothing to reproach yourself why worry? There still is blatant racism sgainst foreigners in cases which pit foreigners against Thais and this will unfortunately never be under consideration because we are always guilty no matter wjat.
  10. As some of you might have been made aware by Paypal, we will need to register with the NDID something or other in order to keep using our Thai registered Paypal accounts. To do so one must be a Thai national. I have been doing wonderful business with Paypal for the last 5 years and now this. My credit card registered to my account is from my country of origin. I must look into whether I can use an address in my country to register and then I need to find out if I can have my goods shipped here, to Thailand. This is not so cool that only Thai nationals can register. Once again I am a victim of a system that is non-inclusive in its policies. If anyone is in the same boat I am and has found a way to circumvent this <deleted>, please share.
