so daddy warmed up the Malaysian PM and in comes Patongtarn... of course she has to maintain the appearance that won her the award for best young leader given not too long ago. Woe me... if only the rest of the world really knew that she is actually a puppet in the guise of a leader -

why dont you have a look at the different epoxys available at a good hardware store? put it on, let it dry, sand it and then put a primer to seal it... you can finish with a light coat of spray paint to color match it.

What are the odds of that 50-year-old Thai getting the visa? The thai reputation for being a bit to the left of the law follows them everywhere. Hence the difficulty for them in getting a visa... specially the women -

Bachelor’s degree in the Philippines
Pouatchee replied to Pistachio's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
If you have never heard the term 'edutainer' then that means you dont work in the education industry. Let me break it down for you: EDU-cation enter-TAINER EDU+TAINER results in a coined term thats been around nearly 20 years that mocks the incompetent teachers who almost only play games and mess around with the kids rather than teach them in a meaningful way. It is what thais are/were looking for in farang a while ago, and possibly still are. It stems from the thai and foreign attitude "I just want my kid to be happy". Parents dont realise that their kids need an education rather than a smile on their faces. The proof is in the pudding. Regularly here, on AN, we hear of the results of the kids in english as tested in ASEAN, and even global tests. There is a reason why education meant something a long time ago... and it wasnt eduTation -

Bachelor’s degree in the Philippines

philipinos have strong accents that many thai parents dont like. Many of them know diddlysquat about english but still get jobs. thank you for revealing your nationality... russians and czechs also have strong accents and it is far from being your native language. how would you feel paying for someone who has a strong accent and likely is not that great at english? -

the fact that he doesnt answer speaks for itself. sorry, were you an actual teacher you would realise that most of the people teaching here do exactly what you say...they are edutainers. once you understand this then look at the kids' proficiency. do you still think edutaining works? -

Bad experience teaching in Thailand
Pouatchee replied to bimbumbam's topic in Teaching in Thailand Forum
and you think a certificate for teaching adults will make you a teacher? CELTA : Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults i ve seen many on high horses because they had this degree. Having a B ed in esl from my country and a sh!te load of experience observing teachers with many different degrees i suggest you reconsider your motives for teaching. -

seems to me your motives will do a disfavor to the kids. You think you can teach... just like i think i can be a lawyer. do the kids a favor and stay away from teaching- 76 replies

take a good look in a mirror...you dont see the forest for the trees... you clearly didnt get my point and maybe this is because you didnt do enough reading comprehension in primary school. left winging democrats like you keep going at trump any way you can and you dont even try to see that even guys like maher can see some good in him. you go at bannon to go at trump. pretty lame and just shows that like an angry dog you cannot let go of the bone. this is the problem with you and as maher said the left wingers are no the blind and arrogant that they accused the right of being. If you morons stopped criticizing trump ate every opportunity this forum would go quiet all of a sudden. but you cant just shut up, can you?
-
seems you are omitting something deliberately thus trying to flame the people here. shame on you... you are using the tactics that make me hate leftist democrats. what did maher have to say about trump in his opening statements? nothing but good things... remember the dinner maher had with trump last week? according to maher, who doesnt like trump, it went quite well didnt it? you should present the 2 sides of the story if you are going to try to flame people

Isnt that what they do in thailand? why the fascist left needs to oppose this is beyond me. Maybe they should get out more to countries like... let's say thailand. Why the US is supposed to take in everyone is beyond me... try being an illegal immigrant in most countries around the world see how you fare.

if you're gonna pry into my business you better be ready to put yourself on the spot too, or else you are just a nosy sob.

same here. ill repeat what i said b4. the biggest problem with the republicans is that they vehemently deny free health care to all and they are against a woman's free will to have the right to do what she wants with her body... I used to be somewhat liberal but now no more... but that doesnt make me a republican. this is the problem with a two party election system
-
yeah I think he is to libertard to realise he did that...
-
deflecting much? Pot Kettle?
-
and where do you stand?
-
no, and you? left-wing liberals are the new fascists
-
give it a rest... you get more flies with honey than vinegar and so far you demonstrate exactly what i hate in leftist democrats... an aggressive attitude that is even worst than trumps january 6th thingy... dont you realise you are an extremist? no one likes that... go back home and fight the fight if this is how you feel about it and leave us alone here.
