I have a big Sharp I bought at Robinson's and I have a smaller TEFAL I bought at hardware house. The oven one also works as a rotisserie and as a normal oven. Brilliant technology and the food is great. Warms up food better than a microwave. Best of luck

What to seal these concrete blocks with, please?

Which he won't need to do if he does it right from the first time. Moreover, if he follows your advice and one day builds 2 layers up he will continue to do it the wrong way. Funny how some people find it so hard to gracefully admit they are wrong. -

Ever hear the idiom: do it once do it right? Putting the bricks upside down not only looks wrong but his bricks will also retain water when it rains and they will also be less strong with the crown facing upwards rather than downwards. -

I just love reading these articles. I learn something new every day. A crowing moment? What the heck is that? I always thought it was a crowning moment... oops better be careful some overly sensitive moderator might come along and ditch points on my community reputation, or block me for 10 days... as if I care

How much do the average Thai person earn ?
Pouatchee replied to Baron Samedi's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Only reason you are getting smiles is cos people can't post CONFUSED anymore. The salaries you state are hardly close to what the actual salaries are. I would like to know what jobs these guys are doing, cos even back home those are mighty fine salaries. I think you are just trying to be inflammatory, or your head is up in the clouds somewhere. Even in BKK these are still not average salaries.???? -
You can't insure wood houses like back home. definitely something to consider. I am finalizing my house, Pilons, bricks, sandwich tin roof and as little wood as possible. The house I am renting now is crumbling apart due to termites. Le look du bois est peut-etre beau, mais ca vaut pas la peine ici en thailande mon pot... ; )

Should get your facts straight. You can choose 3 government hospitals. Not private hospitals, The op you quoted mentioned that Paolo hospital is private and not cheap. I can't say whether this hospital is private or not because I don't know this hospital. But I do know 'Pagan Sangkom' which is the social security you are referring to. They only cover government hospitals and that is a fact I am positive of.

I just can't feel anything for this guy. Strap your boots on and get on with it. Party for 10 weeks and now wants pity. It sucks to be him, but it is not really news worthy IMHO.- 251 replies

As some of you might have been made aware by Paypal, we will need to register with the NDID something or other in order to keep using our Thai registered Paypal accounts. To do so one must be a Thai national. I have been doing wonderful business with Paypal for the last 5 years and now this. My credit card registered to my account is from my country of origin. I must look into whether I can use an address in my country to register and then I need to find out if I can have my goods shipped here, to Thailand. This is not so cool that only Thai nationals can register. Once again I am a victim of a system that is non-inclusive in its policies. If anyone is in the same boat I am and has found a way to circumvent this <deleted>, please share.
