havent heard from poor little pita in a while. whats going on with him? has he been cleared yet? -
i used to want to help anyone who seemed to need help. my wife told me that it would get me nothing but trouble. she is kinda right so i am trying to curb my helping habit. many times i saw foreigners who seemed lost and i tried to help many times told to mind my own business. once, in bkk, i had a turkish guy who needed to make a call. he asked me for my phone, which i lent, he made his call which i paid for. hung up, handed me my phone turned around and walked away without so much as a thank you. now, but, stoner, if ever you need help let me know... you are one of the good guys ✌️

@BE88 and @dan much obliged for your comments thanks. the only thing i have to hide is i have a pot plant that i am growing for the pleasure of it. i can no longer smoke due to health issues and i dont sell what i grow. this i can put away no worries. years ago, on new years eve, i did have a run in with some crazy thai guy and when my wife called the police and they came i told them to go see the cctv footage in the 7/11. these fockers brought the thai guy with them and told me to stay out of the cctv room. i told them i wanted to press charges so we went to the police station. on the way in my wife overheard the pigs telling the guy that in order to save himself he had to press charges against me too. the pigs told me i didnt have a case even though the guy charged at me with a ratchet and clearly wanted to hit me. i aksed them to tell me the law about such an inicident. they started to stutter and shoved a the law book, in thai, in our faces and told them to find it ourselves. my wife started reading, and i think that as soon as she got close they took it away from us. fortunately for me my friend was friends with the big boss of the station so he called them and everything was over. so, do i have fait in thai pigs and thai law being a foreigner? absolutely not. i did have one immi officer come for a visit about 7 years ago and he made himself comfortable in my house and he overstayed his welcome. after that i went on retirement visas, but lately i changed back because i am considering going back to work in teaching. thanks for your comments. some times we need confirmation from our peers for what we believe and all who posted replies so far have graciously done this. respect 🙏 forgot to mention, my wife is registered to grow up to 6 plants and i know that for now weed is still legal... so by the letter of the law nothing to worry about. but i still dont trust those empowered with the law

Vietnam scam alert: Thai men survive scam and physical assault

totally ding dong story -
not about finding anything. for me it is about rights. even big joke did not allow them to come in without a warrant. even back in my country (nothing to hide) i would not let cops look around without a warrant. my original op was to find out if anyone had ever had immi push boundaries because we are foreigners. in a broader aspect... what rights do we have here, or dont?

As i mentioned, i am in rayong. Last year they did it via Line. Had to have my witness there. This year they said witness dont need to come to immi but needs to be there for visit. Last year we moved into new house and witness 10km away from new house. I hope they keep it simple and do it on Line again without witness

Should they actually get it? I can't insure my house against acts of gods nor landslide. It sucks what happened to them, but if insurance companies (the biggest crooks in the world) wont insure houses for above mentioned, how can they expect compensation? It can be argued that they should have known the risks before leaving. If something like this ever happens to me, i hope canada would help. But that is unlikely. The did sweet foock all for tsunami victims in 2004

Might have been bullied at school despite his ordeal. Teens are nasty and jealous of each other. Empathy is not very widespread in the teen culture nowadays and add social media to the mix and ya got some pretty explosive crap. Poor kid

Thai Foreign Ministry calls for immediate release of all Hamas hostages
Pouatchee replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Geez... hamas listens to no one. What makes these guys think they will listen to them. I think stomping their feet might help. I hope these hostages get released soon. No one should be made to fear for his/her life. But these are the times we live in. Humanity will never change. -
me thinks banchang, rayong, has 1... but i don't know if it is one of the smart ones that used to make headlines because of their numerous cracking down on illegals... 😋

We are in our own house. My last "visit" here last year in rayong was done via Line phone app...

Dunno if this is the right place to ask but I don't think it belongs in the visa section. just wondering, when immi do a home visit can they walk around the house and look in closets or different rooms of a house? big joke did not let the police come into his house without a warrant when he was under scrutiny a few months back. immi is actually police but their duties include home visits. once again, to what extent are they allowed to inspect a house without a warrant? I have a thai wife, were I just a falang on a retirement visa being visited by immi i am sure they would pretty much do what they want but with a thai wife... maybe it is more difficult for them to bend the law. anyone who has any experience with this or any knowledge of our rights let me know.

Did you get the easy way in life or the hard way?
Pouatchee replied to Chris Daley's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
why ask posters here about our lives but not tell about your own? if you actually shared i would not consider you op as being busybody in nature. there are plenty of others starting threads like yours and in the end they suck. why do you want to be part of that team? -
you mean dumb blonde? 😋 totally agree

i wish i could agree. just like koreans, they used to be disciplined and hard working... 30 years old and up still are, but the new generation is turning into mush. i used to tutor koreans and over the years i witnessed them becoming less and less disciplined and the parents wanted the kids to have fun, just like thais do. now i tutor chinese kids and the same attitude is starting to kill their drive. however, this lady is an example of what remains of what used to be a very hard working people
