  1. tell that to the thais with a benz, a fortuner, 2 condos and a mansion. those who think thailand is a 3rd world country, or that westerners are richer need a good pair of spectacles to enjoy watching this spectacle
  2. stupid comment and wishful thinking
  3. great way to spend tax payers money. they should be sued for wasting tax payers taxes
  4. ya got the date wrong. this year is 2566... doubt there was a thai parliament 250 years ago
  5. brave new world... or is it? seems like they are employing the same kind of tactics that they are denouncing. been saying it since the beginning. plus ca change plus cest la meme chose
  6. My thoughts exactly.people want youth in the office, but girls like taylor swift... i doubt she is an adequate representative of democracy... she is yather a flagship of bad love affairs and broken hearts
  7. then... it certainly not be a democracy, but tather mob rules.now is a time for cool heads not fihhting in the streets
  8. wishful thinking alas... last i heard a senator was appointed for life.to make any changes they will hav to go through the contitutional court. good luck with that
  9. pfff asteroid? really? back home protests are not in any more. you expect thais to protest? ya giv them too much credit. @Bangkok Barry The people do not choose the PM in the world's longest established democracy, the UK, either. They vote for a Party, and the few members of the winning Party are able to vote for who they want among candidates for PM thanks for that... i think most people forget that fact
  10. dude no arguments here... you and i see eye to eye on weed... glad to hear byou got through but as you said tit so things may change
  11. show me one single comment that was ape sh_t. what if i am right and someone at security decides you are not allowed to carry weed and you end up in the bkk hilton? is that drama? the post to coconuts you linked does state that we are not allowed extracts over 0.2% ... what if they decide to apply that to the weed you are carrying. you decided to take me on and confront me on my opinions. and as i said before, why take the risk? just by some elsewhere. so no... you are picking a quarrel with me and you are giving bad advice. stupid advice will get others in trouble and your advice is precisely that stupid. so leave it be ps @marin said "When you threaten people they tend to respond. " you and me have a different definition of threatening. and well... when you insult people they tend to respond too @marin also from your coconut article The answer from the government is no, you cannot smoke marijuana in public, and it is still illegal to sell or supply any products containing more than 0.2% of the main hallucinogenic compound THC.
  12. security or whatever they call it...
  13. yeah and newbies who havent shown their true colors yet really? you have some crystal ball as to what customs are up to? btw i write how i feel like so instead of trying to educate me just mind your own business. you wantr to give bad advice go ahead. as i said for the third time why try to risk bringing it when you can get it anywhere here... you are turning this into a witch hunt on opinions. why dont you book some tickets and go ahead and enlighten me on your travelling experiences. let it be and dont quote me again on this. i dont let go easily either
  14. ok, but tit... i would really not take any chances considering that the stuff is available. all it takes is one over zealous agent, or a change in internal policies an next stop is bkk hilton. try then to explain that it is supposed to be allowed
  15. why on earth would you want to play russian roulette at an airport? you can still get the stuff pretty much anywhere in thailand. also, if you read the current news on AN the thai airport police is now training drug sniffing dogs. dude... think twice before you post. this one is a no brainer.
  16. so why are people (foreigners included) wrapped up with pitiful pita? i guess it is just the handsome man syndrome in action. same can be said about justin trudeau. his politics suck, but hey... he is handsome...
  17. completely agree. we know what the shinawat's true colors are. shoot first ask questions later. i dont get why people are so blinded by pitiful pita. wish i understood. maybe cos there really arent any alternatives? as for prayut and the watch guy i think they are out to pasture... finally. i think deep down inside the people who support weed know the reality of it. if you compare then with now, there are much fewer people advertising. weed seeds and weed paraphernalia on shopee and lazada... the stoners seem to know better what is coming than the boozers and the straits
  18. yes... make booze more easily accessible and make weed a punishable by jail offence once again. great going... too bad too few people dont see what is coming. there is no alternative for the thais, but i am not on the band wagon cheering pitiful pita either. he will reveal his true nature soon enough. i get lots of confused emojis for stating the obvious but soon enough i will 'i told you so'???? ???? ????
  19. non o for marriage and retirement... not non b
  20. well... good luck with that. i was told by immi officer no go. if they manage to do it good for them. would be nice if op updates his posts as his acquaintances go through the process
  21. seems to me they should be taking better care of us. i only bring in about 600 000bht a year and i know many bring in more than me, but at least i spend it here. not sure, but usually the wealthy are wealthy for a reason and someone used to tell me the rich are rich cause they are cheap, and you are poor cause you spend it all.???? ????
  22. now lets hear you sound out phonically what i wrote. oops, right, needs to be at least kindergarten 2. by the way how bout adding content or an actual opinion to the matter at hand rather than just picking an argument that i wont let you win?
