I still think that Bojo does not take this Brexit soap seriously - for him it's probably just a hiso prank played on the little people.

France gears up for war with European neighbours if locked out of British waters by no deal Brexit
Dimitri Rogoff, president of the regional Normandy fishing committee, agreed the Dutch posed problem.
“They practice what I would call a scorched-earth policy: when there is nothing left, they look elsewhere. We saw it with electric fishing. That cannot sit with our fishermen who fish locally and don’t look elsewhere when nothing’s left,” he warned.
I did not know that this Rogoff character was France's president - commander in chief, and that he had plans to use the French nuclear deterrent against his neighbours - or even send in the Foreign Legion.
Thanks for the information.

Lets keep it simply , the majority voted to leave and leave only .
There was no other option to vote half leave and half stay .
It was either stay or leave
QUOTE: It was either stay or leave
No, it was not.
That is what the extremists made of it.

Yes. We all voted to leave the E.U .
When we all voted Leave.................we didn't think that leaving the E.U would mean we stayed IN the E.U.
Its very straightforward and simple , its not complicated
I agree - about straightforward , simple and not complicated.
Time for some advanced algebra
52% voted leave.
If 95% of the leavers wanted to leave under whatever conditions, including No Deal,
Then...... the no dealers were a minority: 48% remainers + (5% of 52% = 2,6%) = 50,2% against No Deal.
Sorry to bother you with things you do not understand, and on top of that: algebra is an arab invention, so cannot be trusted.

Does every other country have visa free travel to the EU?
Does every other country have the right to export vegetables covered in pesticides? - or does every other country have to respect our regulations?

They are grateful for farang money and would prefer you just send that and not actually travel to Thailand. If you must, they really don't want you spending too much time there because they don't really like you that much.
Are you talking about the Thai government, or also the Thai "fiancées"?

I so much like the word "fiancée".

Perhaps because excess capacity is very expensive and perhaps they can't get enough staff anyway. Nursing is so unpopular now that western countries have to import nurses from countries like the Phillipines.
I hear that the UK imports their nurses from Rumania. Until 1 january, that is.
Good for the Rumanian health system after 1 january.

Beans on toast is considered as the ultimate delicacy for many Britons.
Here the recipe from : food.com/recipe/british-beans-on-toast
DIRECTIONS
- Toast bread.
- In a saucepan, heat up the beans.
- Spoon onto toast and top with Worcestershire sauce.
You forgot the lots of sugar.
And chicken curry has now replaced sugary beans on toast as the UK's top gourmet food. Without pilipili of course.

OMG
Did "The UK" really say that?
Or was this said by some hardliners in the 52% segment?
Great negotiating skills if those extremists really said that.

Remain to be seen what the E.U. agreed in lieu of.
I don't believe in capitulation, nor in a absolute winner or looser, in negotiations on that level.
Would Boris be smart enough to "concede" to not violating an international treaty in return for European concessions?

I read somewhere on this forum that the UK will soon have the ability to admit only well schooled Europeans, such as nurses and doctors from Romenia.
That will solve Transam's problem of rif raf drunk Europeans, pissing at his door.
Great!
That is what development aid should be about!

I just do not understand why my fellow Europeans keep bringing up economic arguments!
It should be clear by now, that half the British - the winning half - are not interested in economics.
The colour of their passport, their racist hatred against foreigners, their glorious but bloody past, their historical lack of a labour movement, their cockney accent while admiring the hiso politicians and their German Queen's English, that is why they voted - ok, only half of them - for brexit.
Let them - ok, half of them - have their no deal brexit, sorry for the other half, but that's the way it is.
Life is not fair, so the more intelligent half of the British will have to suck it up. Not our problem.

Does that mean the EU wouldn't be selling anything to the UK
NO, the EU would only sell the many things the UK is desperate for, such as vaccine produced in Puurs, Belgium. After payment of the export tax of course.

Probably 0% access for your fish on E.U. markets ....( start looking new recipes for fish as you have to eat them yourself mostly ....???? ). and 0% single market access & loosing Euro passporting for the city i guess ????
both % 's meeting each other ???? ?
Maybe fish curry can replace chicken curry as England's national dish?

Apparently, written at a time when not many travelers had long hair. The same travelers probably have NO hair, today. I know that during the rule of Marshall Sarit, the rules for men's dress and hair were a bit draconian. I haven't heard the term "hippie" used in many years. These days, the "hippest" music stars seem to have crew cuts.
I was going to give you a like for this post, but then I saw Neeraram likes it - there sure must be something wrong with your post, something above my comprehension.

Unfortunately, hippies died out just after the dinosaurs.
Except for this one of course.
And even more unfortunately, there are still some dinosaurs around in 2020.

If it's achievable for measles, the odds are it's achievable for coronavirus.
QUOTE:
For some diseases, herd immunity can go into effect when 40 percent of the people in a population become immune to the disease, such as through vaccination. But in most cases, 80 to 95 percent of the population must be immune to the disease to stop its spread.
For example, 19 out of every 20 people must have the measles vaccination for herd immunity to go into effect and stop the disease.

Presently I am riding out covid in Madeira, almost no cases here (while Continental Portugal is as bad as the rest of Europe) - all thanks to the fact that from the beginning Madeira asked for a covid test for all arrivals to the island.
Wine at 1 euro a liter, steak from the Azoras, local fish, friendly people and levada walks make it very bearable.
And the climate? Eternal spring.
