Obsessive greed. Money grabbing again. Thaksin government is all about taking money from the ordinary man. Just look at London n Singapore. It is just making payment for a problem that comes with car usage n ownership. Another scam like paying money to ensure that there are no pollution. For this reason I respect the Hong Kong government who had for decades resisted n refused to implement what the Singapore n Uk government did.

It will never be traffic free or less traffic. It is just a money grab.. just look at Singapore - there are now so many entries into the cities, suburb, highways .. and yet there are jams bumper to bumper traffic every day at peak hour .. it started on the premise to free the city of traffic but now it’s in everywhere .. then look at London - need I say more .. it will just increase government coffers .. sadly .. it’s like believing that by paying carbon tax and expect no more monsoons, hurricanes n typhoons next year 🤣🤣🤣

Sad this is what you get… the earlier residents migrating to Thailand are all into spending money in Thailand .. but when you open up borders n prostitute yourself to all people .. then you will get the worker class migrating into Thailand to earn money within your land and take advantage of all your resources from healthcare to childcare to transport n you will end up sponsoring a lot of social spendings to cater to this second group of people coming into your country …inflating all prices for your population..this will be what open migration does. Social spending to cater to large number of residents who will tax all your current resources … look at Singapore whose population grew from 4m to now 6m and all social structure is teetering on over use n breakdowns …,So it’s a penny wise pound foolish policy. Short term gains but long term pain …

Can’t blame them ..in case you don’t know - the internet WeChat in Bangkok is filled with Thai woman who advertise their trade from massage to outright sex .. n renting of girlfriends ..all pitched to Chinese tourists - and all at crazy prices .. probably there is indeed a Chinese market for sex and the Chinese tourists all do sex tours to Thailand

As I always say Thaksin is all about money - 300bht tourist tax, DTV, 10,000 bht digital wallet, worldwide income tax, casino pending, more cannabis, more tourists …..but then again all politicians are in for the money 🤣🤣 So if the wealth is not properly split .. then there will be many unhappy powerful people out there. 🤣🤣

The problem is that the Thai government have never cherished or respected this golden goose. Expats are a silent minority in Thailand that is totally ignored by Thai government except when it comes to taking money from us.. we are discriminated against in pricing, enjoy no benefits as citizens but yet we directly n loyally support the entire Thai economy with our consistent spendings from Bangkok to Issan. By shrinking Expat spendings, the whole Thai economy will now have to depend on the whimsical, seasonal and unpredictable tourism where all other countries will be competing with them. This tax will be the government ‘robbing’ from the very same support from which Thai economy gets its support and the ultimate real losers will be the Thai economy n the Thai common folks. The immediate glee n greed for this tax will bring long term repercussions spread to the entire Thai economy. At the end of the day, it’s just another transfer of wealth n robbing from the spendings to be earned by the Thai common folks to the government.

So this is expected and this is what you get. Military government is to remain status quo. Move forward - unknown but has global agenda. Thaksin government is to encash everything from casinos to everything that can make fast cash and very soon they will sell off State assets. Open door immigration to bring masses who will spend in Thailand.. increasing the price of everything …foreigners over Thais.. very soon enclaves will sprout and Thais will lose their country… sad sad for the people who blindly vote PT.

Sigh ... was in upstream Oil and Gas - the Chinese were more efficient because they bought drilling equipment without all the safety checks and certifications. Imagine a drill that usually cost USD$1M or more only cost USD300,000 from a chinese Supplier. They will use it all the way until accident happens but even then - the insurance pay and the sum paid out are so little under Chinese laws or for the matter - Thai laws. So commercially it is worth all the risks to forgo safety checks for them. So if you use heavy equipment for a chinese company, - it usually does not have safety checks and certifications. So your life is at risks. Life is cheap in China and Thailand.

Hahahaha.. wow with the free for all visa rules - u now get foreign gangs from different countries carving out fiefdom and terrorising their own countryman in Thailand. Very soon some areas will be controlled by these different nationalities gangs🤣🤣🤣. Thai should learn that this was how the local Triads started in early 20th century in the different countries like Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and even in California Chinatowns n Korean town. New foreigners will then pay protection money to the local triads or gangs from their own countries because they don’t get protection from local police. Even the local police will seek foreign gangs to control and maintain public peace .. 🤣🤣🤣 We are soon witnessing the same in Thailand if the Thai government do not realise this….

The good hotels in Pattaya are so expensive. Almost the Same price as a room in Hong Kong or Singapore s$250 average 6500 baht +VAT per nite. So if the hotel rates are this high, then families will just go to Okinawa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia Penang or Langkawi or Bali.. Crazy hotel rates will deter families

Floodgates once opened is difficult to monitor and close. With China economy collapsing... and Russia at war, we will expect more criminals than regular tourists. The Chinese are all running out of China as we speak.. and this include a majority of nefarious characters who are now seeking to profit from crime in other countries with lax laws. I really fear for Thailand...
