    Oh, don't go out much on a Friday?, I work so I enjoy Friday night. Elections was nation wide. Off course you can buy boooze in local shops, but bars was closed.

    Actually Pattaya city includes Naklua, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung is only one taboon. Jomtien is not part of Pattaya special economic zone

    You didn't get it.. One side of government gives OK to Pattaya city. Other one says NO in Bang Lamung. Bang Lamung is the official name of Pattaya City. Live in Bang Lamung, saw tourists wondering around asking why everything closed

    Try something different, the Dark side. Cheaper hotel, no tourists, only expats. Khaotalo street has everything, at the top you have plenty of girly bars only expat customers. Stay there, only 60 baht drive with bolt to central Pattaya

    Highly recommended. Best meat ever in Thailand and I lived here for 19 years. Pattaya for 3 years now, just discovered this gem. Last Sunday I bought lambshop and Mexican chorizo, wonderful. Going again. Small shop, everything frozen. But they have butchery, so if you can speak Thai....
