  1. No they are not the same, there are Daiking, Mistubishi, both leaders, and the rest is shiiitte.

Someone has been lucky with Samsung but Samsung are cheaply made, it's so obvious by just looking at them.

Also when someone is telling that inverters are too complicated for local technicians, it remind me the stupid (poor charlies) people that were telling that Porsche and Benz were not able to service these car correctly in Thailand, before I bought them, which is of course more than stupid and wrong.

Everybody now knows inverters and they are nothing complicated, so please people, stop talking about what you have no clue !!!

Tea partner is a 100 percent vegetarian place. It's very close to the Filipino place I recently posted about, Pinoy Fast Foods. Yes, there does appear to be a friendly welcome there (I noticed that walking by) and the prices are friendly too. Good variety of veg. dishes, thalis, dosa menu, and also Indian breakfasts. I did notice though that most of the reviews on tripadvisor are from people with only one or two reviews. :coffee1:

There is another very similar menu and priced Indian veg. restaurant also on Pattaya Klang, located on the other side of street from Tea Partner and fairly close to 2nd road. I have eaten there a few times. It's OK but wouldn't rave.

My current pick (there are so many now) for Indian vegetarian food is here but not for the thalis:

Thank you for these 2 places. As for me most Indian restaurant offer the same food made with the same ingredients bought at the same place, I will check them to compare prices, as I do not believe that taste will be any different.

  4. So if a 35+ woman is smart enough to understand and accept that she cannot get more salary than a 25+ for a job that she does not know and for which she has no experience, would she be a better choice ?

    In my opinion yes.

Also, don't you think that choosing a woman who is too old to have kids and leave her job for this reason is a good idea ? People with kids always have problems and too many reason to take day off, which I do not appreciate.

when reading the headline I though they were taking about Phuket...

Yes I am still waiting if someone in charge in this country has some big enough to clean Phuket ? Because it's really the most corrupted place in this country and deserves a deep Karcher cleaning !

Just wondering who will be in charge of the weed business on all these islands now ?

    :-)

My plan is that factory staff will be mostly middle aged Thai women and possibly some guys.

The staff who will be serving  customers will be young and pretty.

The young pretties will earn more (sales bonuses).

All staff will benefit from things like a provident fund, regular company trips, family days, free childcare, free english lessons (mandatory for customer facing staff, optional for factory staff).   My partners and I have discussed giving equity to staff who stay with the company.

Managerial staff will be offered equity from day one so we can attract good people.  Looking for overseas educated, young Thais (they will need to stay with us for x years before they can vest their shares).

We will provide free transport from the nearest BTS, free lunch, free drinking water.

We intend to build a company culture that people will want to work for and stay working for.   They will see that there is a career progression for everyone, no matter what position you join in, if they stay we will try to teach them new skills and let them get up the career ladder.

Sorry but I think that you are quite dreaming about what is possible with staff here.

They won't care your business anyway and will leave as soon as they have a chance, especially the younger ones.

    1. Agree with you, but some older Thai are smarter than others and can understand that younger staff who is already working in the company knows more

    2. Older staff hopeless in his future will accept less salary

    3. Older staff hopeless in his future will follow instructions

    4. Do you mean that Thai employers are just stupid and do not understand the benefit of keeping older staff ?

Anyway, young staff want more and more salary, for for some jobs I do not believe that older staff will cost more, especially because they have to accept what is given to them without having a large choice !

I think you are being harsh. People believe in the supposedly good faith that a business , such as True fitness and especially California wow that they will not close, especially if they are an international brand. If you are a  keen and lifetime fitness buff, paying a one of fee for life is pretty good business sense.

Exactly what I was saying people are stupid ! Ever wondered why so many believe in god ?

  9. Greetings,

I am wondering why so many Thai business seem to prefer young staff when everybody knows that the young won't keep a job long and will leave as soon as they find a better one.

Unlike 35+ women who know that they are getting old (for Thailand) and should keep a good job as long as possible.

But maybe I am wrong ? Do you have bad experience will older staff leaving your company without notice that the youngster do ?

    Thanks.

  10. People will never learn and just deserve what happens to them !

California closing experience was not enough for some people it seems, so they keep paying for yearly or lifetime membership ?

    Ridiculous.
