Yes - it is about the legislation or dictum concerning the banning of sunscreen.

You have tried to make a false dichotomy by suggesting it isn't a big problem and we should forget this and concentrate on another eco-problems

    .

However, your premise that it isn't a big problem is false. This is shown by information from the Great Barrier Reef in Oz where the damage to reefs by sunscreen has been monitored, quantified and shown - and in the process the quantity of particles deposited by tourism has been calculated.

Thailand is notoriously bad at gathering and collating statistics pertaining to environment and conservation, so it would seem to be a good idea to look elsewhere to see how serious these problems can be.

Thailand at its peak had over 40 million tourists, a large proportion of whom visit the marine national parks there and logically the effects can safely be compared to that of visitors on other reefs around the world where more careful, scientific monitoring has taken place.

In many issues including wildlife and conservation, Thailand fails to take advice from outside the Kingdom. This is to their own cost....they ignore this information at their peril.

The fact that they have just relied on a sudden dictum reinforces the impression that the problem here hasn't been sufficiently researched nor has the methodology for it's implementation.

This will result in poor enforcement, disgruntled tourists and continued damage. It is unfortunate that you like so many Thai officials choose to ignore the helpful information that is really available from other countries and therefore don't act on it appropriately

Well aren't you quite the wordsmith, and l didn't say it wasn't a problem l said they have bigger problems with there don't care attitude and total disregard for the environment with the amount of plastics and rubbish they are happy to dump anywhere or haven't you noticed, and the tourists haven't been coming due to Covid or haven't you noticed that either, dictate that Kevin or is it Karen

  2. Wow that's quick l thought they are still doing human trials with the jab, they must have been so successful with no deaths, no side effects, no adverse reations, immunity from the virus and can't contract or spread the virus once vaccinated, well that would be a NO to all of the above, let's try something else maybe trial it on the people making these decisions and wait and see

  3. The "THINK TANK" they obviously don't understand the meaning of that, my understanding is were intelligent people get together and problem solve and come up with plans and solutions to issues but in this cause they pull a farcical number out of there aarrssee, its just something about numbers and figures in Thailand they just never add up, never let the truth or facts get in the way of saving face

Associate Professor Yongyuth Chalamwong, director of labour development research in the TDRI’s human resources and social development department, told Thai PBS today (Tuesday) that the partial lockdown measures, imposed by the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration since late July, has had an extensive impact on businesses and the labour market.

You can see why he is a Associate Professor for stating the bloody obvious, why didn't anyone else think of this

  5. I have sent my wife 5 packages in the last 18 months due to covid from Australia to Thailand 3 to 5kg each time nothing out of the ordinary creams, some chocolate, rain jacket on 1 occasion they made my wife pay 2000 baht to release the package for no other reason that the post master in bkk said so, l had all items listed on declaration, could not argue the point had to pay his luch money nothing more than a scam Amazing Thailand

  6. It was looking bad there for a while with cases pushing above 20,000per day so to fix this we have stopped testing so many people so things have improved, Grandmaster Prayut was glad to hear this news otherwise he would look like an idiot and have to cancel or postpone his 120 day re-opening plan, and that can't happen, same as the Sandbox cannot fail

They're counting the set of people with two jabs twice. If you vax 10m people once, then 5m of them again, it's still only 10m people, 5m with one jab, 5m with two jabs. But it equals 15m jabs. They're calling the jabs as people.

Looked at another way, if they administer 10m jabs, that could equate to 5m double jabbed, or 10m single jabbed, or anywhere in between.

And many onto there 3rd jab, booster shot
