Not sure if anyone has noticed this already, however it would be difficult not to, at the exit of the tunnel when you drive Northbound there is a wet spot on the Sukhumit road surface for about 3 months already even when it hasn't rained for weeks.

It is where the car, behind the bus in the picture, is situated and on the newly laid surface. A few months ago I noticed a "bunch of engineers" standing and staring at the wet spot, but other then it getting bigger by the day nothing has changed since

How long before the road surface will start crumbling and a big hole will appear?

  2. Manufacturers are by law required to add those best before dates, and the limit of those dates is also set by law, but canned and dried food will stay good for consumption even years after those dates.

It can of course also been seen in it's commercial content, because if those dates weren't added, the sale of canned and dried foods would also be reduced.

There are some very sophisticated free builds available. Just Google Best 2017 Kodi Builds.

Sure there are very nice builds available for free, in fact EVERYTHING on Kodi is free for all.

Many people however are noobs regarding Kodi and appreciate the help with set up and the follow up support and whatever else is be needed.

All that can also be found from websites and YouTube, if you know where to look, but is very time consuming and in my experience many people have even then a difficult time to follow the instructions.

As far as I'm aware there is no free service available online that holds your hand through set up and afterwards.

Good point. That's why I bought a box with a built in hard drive bay.  I can record anything anytime..

Of course to time record you need the addons that enable time recording at times that you are not able to watch, and this only make sense for live tv, because all the other content is on demand at your convenience any way.

Personally I'm not a proponent of the few boxes with a drive bay that are available, because they are quite bulky, and the limited selection available also limits you in the choice of specs for your box.

Every Android box has the possibility to attach an external HDD through the USB slot.

Exactly. As for updates. I probably change a build every 4 months. Mainly just to check out new builds.

Use Exodus for tv and series.

Live tv is pointless on Kodi if you are based in Thailand because of the time difference.

For European and US Live tv the time difference can instead be an inconvenience, unless you know how to time record the streams of course.

Every major sports event worldwide, in whatever sports discipline is also available in replay on Kodi, and many of the major tv channels have their version of catch up tv

  6. Sure Mobdro is indeed a valuable option, I even include it in all my Kodi builds, though the picture resolution is sometimes pretty low.

For movies Exodus, Specto or a few other Kodi addons are far superior in quality, options and content over Showbox.

Full HD movies and the latest screeners of Logan or the uncut version of fifty shades darker in HD, and to all movies are subtitles in whatever language you prefer automatically added.

I recently had a friend who swore by Showbox, because he didn't know Kodi, until he had my build installed. Now he wonders why he didn't go for Kodi earlier. He never looked back at Showbox

I also like the Filmon addon in Kodi, as it automatically integrates with the program guide which contains every UK and US tv and sports channels.Other addons can also easily be added to that program guide.

For sports there are plenty of addons in Kodi, some with 1080P streams of all major sports channels, and other that only list live sports events.

Cricbox is include in a few Kodi addons

For documentaries there is of course HBO or National Geographic documentaries in Kodi.

Convenience of Kodi is that everything is in one place just one click away, and you don't risk any malware or adware as with online versions.

Oh, and don't forget, everything I mentioned and what you see in the screen shots, and much more, is all FREE.

    Some builds have atomatic updates.

So if you are so proud of your product could you please let us know the cost of your service?

The one thing that drew me to you was your insistence to private messages.

    Every addon receives auto updates.

But updates doesn't include change of repo server address, this only can be done manually. If the repo server address changes your addon will not update any more and stop working.

I should also be noted that change of repo address is some frequent issue these days, because the servers get shut down for obvious reasons and have to move on to better horizons.

Also many builds have a main repo that contains hundreds of addons instead of the repo from the original developer of each addon because installing all those repos is very time consuming..

The problem with that is that this repo often contains outdated version, so your addon stops working while it still should be fully functional, or even has some malicious code written in that removes competing addons from your system. Been there, got the T-shirt.

And again, if the server address of that repo changes all your addons top updating at once.

Auto updates also doesn't include newly released addons obviously, and nobody informs you about that.

Forum rules prevent me to publish my services on the open forum, but everyone is free to ask.

    Sceptical people better refrain.

  8. Today I had a look at the advertising board at Big C extra, in the hope to see a second hand Nmax advertised, but no luck.

What I saw was 2 Nuovo Elegance advertised for sale, obviously by foreigners, as could be noted from the perfect English the ad was written

The first ad was for a Nuovo Elegance from March 2008 and asking price was 28.000 Baht.

The second one had no build year in the ad, but from the pictures it was clearly one of the earlier models, abd was quoted as having 42.000 Kilometers.

Asking price was 35.000 Baht, and seller claimed that new price was 78.000 Baht

    Are these people for real?

The Fire remote is worse than useless with that and the Air-mouse is also a pain, as a result of the way it interacts with the Fire.  Trying to fast forward or rewind was a pain with the FF/RW buttons not working

For others who have the same issue that the FF and RW buttons not working on the Minix air mouse, this can easily be fixed by adding a Keymap.

Interested people can let me know and I guide them how to fix it.

I'd lapsed my Netflix membership over the last 4 months and just reactivated. I'll keep it going until I've burned through what I want to see. I did the best of them last time (Narcos, Marco Polo, Stranger Things etc). Actually tonight I was watching on the U9 in the living room and finished off watching on the ATV in the bedroom. That has Netflix HD. The U9 just 720 AFAIK. To be honest I hardly noticed the difference, and if I did, it wasn't a case of "no way can I watch this SD crap". As such, Netflix HD just got downgraded from a 'must have' to a 'nice to have' feature, especially given the periodic use. On that basis, given that's the only thing the Shield brings to the party over the U9 (zero interest in games), it seems to be a bit of a waste to shell out over double the price of the U9 to get one. Especially as Prime Video is ALSO proving to be patchy for some on that!!

Why anyone would want to pay for Netflix Thailand goes totally over my head, because all content from Netflix World, and of all other networks like HBO - Cinemax - A&E and Universal Asia is available totally free in Kodi in HD and with subtitles in the langauage of your choice.

HD is 720P, while full HD is 1080P, and indeed you will have a hard time to see the difference unless you have a 100" tv.

I really have to laugh when people say they see a difference between 1080P and Ultra HD, which is neigh impossible unless you sit at the ideal position and really go look for the details.

Nobody watches a movie that way, and for a Ultra HD Netflix stream it is recommended that you have 25Mb constant downstream, so most don't even realise that their stream is automaticall y downgraded to Ful HD by Netflix.

When I saw that absurd saturation of phone counters & shops when the mall first opened, I couldn't conceive how they could possibly stay. Maybe they never thought so either

    Didn't you say on 28 April 2016

And we can just never have enough mobile phone shops

Nonsense, I have been driving in Thailand for 7 years and most people do look when they come out from side roads. Yes some don't and are plain stupid .

Next time you can start counting and observe , They will look in the mirror and behind for traffic.

Then you must have seen different things during those 7 years as me during 20 years driving.

Oh yes some look right when entering a road, and then continue slowly entering the road while starring at the oncoming traffic.

And some even look in the rear mirror ...............to squeeze out their pimples

Dismissing an official who has already resigned on his own terms more than a month ago is like executing a criminal who has already died from a high fall during the police chase. Well done! :clap2::clap2::clap2:

I think there is a difference between resigned and sacked, in that the latter may influence his pension.

Edit : I read now in the OP that he keeps his pension rights, so yet another no event

This is totally wrong.. but how do you expect them to prove it.. Thai Bev denies it.. no paper trail.. He says its an error and they cant prove otherwise..

Im sure he is taking the money.. but proving it is an other thing.

If the accountant declared 50K a month for 2 years in line, and specified a specific company as the payee, then there must have been invoices.

No accountant will take these details out of thin air.

I went to Bowin today, but Nmax seems to be scarcer than hen teeth.

Think I did 7 shops that sold Yamaha of which 3 official yamaha dealer, and none had a Nmax in stock.

Prices varied from 86K + registration cost to 77K including registration and delivery to Pattaya.
