    Yes Guys,

I already have an Android box, Kodi with a Pulse build that I put in, Mobdro, Showbox all of that. I also have a paid subscription to Netflix.

It's just that I got a free trail with expat TV and the picture quality is a world away to the good. I then came across Megexpat TV and they say they offer all of this and more for 9,999 baht, state of the art box, IPTV channels for sports and 1000s of movie channels with no monthly contracts, that is what got me interested.

You get ALL that with a decent Kodi set up, at half the price.

And then it is guaranteed that you get 1 year support and your set up doesn't die in 6 months.

  2. Be very wary about such lengths of HDMI cable, as they must be of high quality otherwise they may not work.

    Been there, got the T-shirt.

A HDMI transfers a digital signal, so it is not a case of good or poor signal, it either works or it doesn't.

Better explore the HDMI over Cat cable, which is more reliable and cover even longer lengths.

  3. If the media providers weren't so greedy there wouldn't be a use for the Kodi third party addons.

It all start with the sports performers, then the sports clubs and next the broadcasters.

Each of them want to get richer every year, and they succeed in this pretty well.

100 Million Euro transfer fee for a football player is just ridiculous.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_expensive_association_football_transfers

Same as $ 2.6 BILLION/year for premier league , or $6 BILLION/year for the national football league

    http://www.sportscastermagazine.ca/blogs/top-10-highest-sports-leagues-broadcasting-contracts-in-history/

Add to that the movie stars and the movie companies. Is it really necessary that a movie grosses $2.77 BILLION to be profitable? I don't think so.

Of course while they all get richer to and extend that is not justified any more, all those fees have to be passed on to someone, and guess who that is.

Yes right, it's the man in the street who pays in the UK up to 100 Gbp/month for his entertainment that come in over the cable.

That's the reason why Kodi is such a unrivalled success in the UK, and which spreads to other countries in the world, and right they are.

    Long live Kodi

It's on a hill. If you stand on the East side of Suk and look North, South or West, it's downhill.  Unless they put a dip in the middle with no drains, I can't imagine how it will flood.  Though TiT.  Anything can, and does, happen! LOL

The tunnel is indeed on a hill, and i have never seen floods in that area as long as i live here, but how about the next planned tunnel for the Pattaya Tai junction.

Le Pen, a member of the European parliament, is under investigation in France for posting three graphic images of IS executions on Twitter in 2015, including the beheading of the United States journalist James Foley.

And any still think it is only Thailand that doesn't want the truth to be revealed, so they can keep their snouts in the through?

Wilders in The Netherlands is another fine example of getting prosecuted for speaking the naked truth.

I was talking to a local developer who said their 2 main causes of cash flow problems are

    1. The Russian Rouble devaluation which has hit the Russian buyers

    2. Unemployment in the O&G industry which has hit other expat buyers

    3. Gbp crash

    4. World wide economic crisis

    5. Thai Baht artificial kept high

    6. Military which grabbed power and have no intention to leave any time soon.

    Shall I go on?

No change, that is what I read from the sign.

Of course some worry about the shareholder change was justified.

No change is what your read, but not how it is in real life, as usual in Thailand.

Plenty of Casino products have been discontinued.

Just to name a few. 2 kinds of mashed potato powder, 5 kinds of salad dressing, Danish salami slices 200 gr, different spaghetti sauces.

Also EVERY casino product that is still available has increased in price by 15% minimum since change of owner.Didn't know that the Baht/ Euro exchange rate increased by 15%

But also many popular non casino brands have been discontinued lately.

It's going the same way as Makro where you now can have all kinds of frozen fish, as long as they are called Pangasius.

    The rich aren't rich enough.

Yet the Thais manage to jack up the price of an Australian bottle of red nearly 3 times the price in Australia..

Shame on those Thais, as the Swiss only jack up the price only 6 TIMES on Thai beer.

5.99 Swiss franc is 207 Baht for a 33cc bottle

Thai font that works for XBMC/Kodi

    arial.rar

Normally they are fake subs..just gibberish.

    http://www.thaisubtitle.com

has real subs but you might need to convert from their SSA  format to SRT    I like to use  Subtitle Edit

    http://www.nikse.dk/

The Thai subtitles in Opensubtitles are NOT fake subtitles, and there is nothing needed to be converted, you have to use the correct font.

I use them all the time and work perfect.

Arial, work with some Thai subtitles but is a hassle to set up correctly, while Garuda works a charm.

  10. For the latest movies it will be hard to find subtitles, because they have to be written by someone.

For Thai subtitles you need the Garuda AD-TT font as it is the only one that support both Thai and Western script.

Before someone jumps on me, I know the Windows Arial will also support bot scripts, but that one is 23 Mb and is not free.

Why do they push stroller where the traffic flows ?

Because they think they are still in Europe.

In most European countries if someone is just standing beside the road, zebra crossing or not, the drivers are required to stop by law.

This being lawless Thailand, they made a big mistake knowingly or not, but the parents are the only ones to blame here .
