Agreed, i remember hearing a story of a farang who posted on  thai forum, not sure this one or the other ones, who claimed his wife was slowly poisioning him, people called BS and Troll and it turned out the story was true and the guy concerned wad in a hell of a state and yes he was being poisioned

2. No credit history or score in Thailand

Sorry you obviously no clue as to how a loan company assess' risk for a loan to be issued

1. You have no Thai based income - and a  flight risk

2. Your not a Thai citizen

3. Your not a legal resident

4. You have no credit history in Thailand

A work permit at least establishes some legal connection to Thailand and a Thai entity

Dont know why your making a such a big issue over this, get a Thai national to sign on behalf of your wife and you put down a 30% deposit its that simple

Do they really ? In my experience its usually the finance company who gets the interest not the dealer, unless its the likes of BMW and mercedes who have their own finance companies who will loan you the money, but even then the dealer doesnt get the interest...so belive your mistaken in your remarks,  irrespective of whether cash or finance all the dealer gets is the purchase price
